The film "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe"
The series of films The Chronicles of Narnia, created by director Andrew Adamson, became one of the most successful franchises in the cinema of those years: from 2005 to 2010. three films were released, each of which raised $ 400 million at the box office.
The first film entitled “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” introduces the viewer into the fabulous world of Narnia. Susan Pevensi, along with her brothers Peter and Edmund, as well as Lucy's sister, goes to the suburbs of London so as not to become victims of the bombing (World War II was on). In the house of a strict professor who sheltered them, children break a window. In fear, they hide in a wardrobe, but it turns out that this is not just a wardrobe, but a portal to another world - the fabulous Narnia.
Once in Narnia, Susan, along with her friends, discovers that they are ancient kings and queens. And only they - the young Pevens - are able to free Narnia from the evil White Witch. Children decide to stay in the country that opened up to them and accept the battle with Jadis.
The film "Prince Caspian"
The next film from the series “The Chronicles of Narnia” tells about the second trip of Susan, Peter, Edmund and Lucy Pevensi to a fabulous country. This time, the matured “kings” and “queens” are called by the magic horn of Prince Caspian. He tells the arriving Pevensi family that Narnia was captured by cruel Telmarines. Susan and her brothers understand that they have a duty to fulfill their duty and free a fabulous country. However, this time it will be even harder than before.
The second film also develops a romantic line. The future king of Narnia likes Susan Pevensi, and Prince Caspian even confesses her feelings to her. But this does not stop the girl: she gives a friend a kiss and, after fulfilling her mission, returns with her brothers and Lucy to the real world.
The film “The Vanquisher of the Dawn”
The Chronicles of Narnia was a very successful project that brought good income. Therefore, in 2010, the third film of this series was shot. But, unfortunately, Susan Pevensi did not take an active part in the development of the plot. According to the script, as, in fact, it was written in the Clive Lewis book, Susan grew up and now she was more worried about “nylon stockings, lipstick and invitations to visit”.
