Masterpieces of classical music are works that have been written by various composers over the centuries. Some of them appeared in the Baroque era, others became famous during the years of the great Enlightenment. Later, romantic compositions began to be born that no longer obeyed the main canons of the classics. That is why it is very difficult to single out any specific creations of composers, to make them higher and better than others. Now we will consider the masterpieces of classical music of various authors, which are the most famous. Thus, we will try to join the world of the beautiful and the great.
Church oratorios
Let's start with the composer, whose first name students of music schools will recognize first - Johann Sebastian Bach. Church choirs, plays and suites written for organ and orchestra take pride of place in the list of his works. An amazing combination of styles takes place in them: pompous Baroque, the severity of church canons and all the experiences that Bach put there. Masterpieces of classical music, written by his hand, are also included in two collections of HTK. It is amazing how the composer was able to suggest that in a couple of centuries such an instrument as a piano would appear, on which almost everyone would play. Bach did not foresee only his name, therefore, noted in his notes him as the Well-Tempered Clavier.
Alone with Harpsichord
One of the most prominent personalities in the history of music is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Each of his works can be considered a true masterpiece, however, in this article we will consider only a few of them. Firstly, the opera Crazy Day, or The Marriage of Figaro deserves applause. Everything is ingenious and insanely beautiful: from the overture to the singing arias. Difficult to hear, but incredibly beautiful is the "Fantasy" D-moll. It clearly shows a change of mood, from a bright "fort" the musician goes to a barely audible "piano". And, of course, the undisputed masterpieces of classical music are his last three symphonies: 39, 40 and 41. Every person, even someone who does not know their author, has their melodies.
Great pianists
The first composer to sit down at the usual piano for us was Ludwig Van Beethoven. It was he who wrote the famous play "To Elise", dedicated to his beloved. Also on the list of his creations is the “Moonlight Sonata” with its long and pensive first part and a bright third. Many of his works have the title of "golden masterpieces of classical music", as they literally speak with listeners. For example, his symphony No. 5 as if reports that fate is knocking on the door. So her first notes are disturbing and ambiguous.
Russian classic
Masterpieces are also in the works of Russian composers, no less talented and gifted than Western ones. The 10th Symphony of Dmitry Shostakovich, built on contrasts of mood and sudden changes in shades, deserves special attention. The cycle of Modest Mussorgsky entitled “Pictures from the Exhibition” is an excellent selection of plays that will appeal to both adults and children.
