The bend of the gallbladder (it is also called constriction or kink) is a change in its shape, which can be either congenital or acquired. Often, the causes of constriction of the gallbladder are cholecystitis (chronic or acute) and gallstone disease.
Let's see why and how the constriction of the gallbladder occurs. This organ has a pear-shaped shape and is divided into three parts: the neck, body and bottom (bottom). The shape is deformed at the junction of the body and the bottom, and bending can occur either in the larger or smaller section. Often there is a constriction and the neck of the body. As a rule, deformation can change the location, in addition, the bend happens in several places at once. This type of constriction can lead to necrosis of the gallbladder wall. But this case is rare in medical practice.
If the constriction of the gallbladder in a child is diagnosed at an early age, it is often eliminated on its own, without any intervention from the side of medicine. The main thing that should be remembered by the mother: do not give the baby fatty and fried foods, and also exclude the yolk from his diet. It is necessary to feed the child about six times a day, fractionally, not to give carbonated drinks, chips and other fast food. If the pain bothers the baby regularly, you should consult a doctor. Drug treatment may be required.
If the constriction is not congenital, but acquired, and it is diagnosed in adulthood, its treatment requires special attention and an individual approach. Bubble deformation occurs both as a result of pericholecystitis, and during the formation of stones. As soon as the inflammatory process begins on the outer wall, the gallbladder is bent. The reason for this is the formation of adhesions in the outer wall. As a result of the disease, the contractile function of the organ fails, this leads to permanent digestive disorders.
The constriction of the gallbladder, the symptoms of which need to be described in more detail, can prevent the outflow of bile. In this case, digestive problems appear. Symptoms of bending are as follows:
- Nausea and possible vomiting. If the constriction of the gallbladder causes a constant feeling of nausea, this can become a threat to the life of the patient.
- Abdominal pain caused by tissue damage and bowel obstruction. In a child, such pains appear in the form of intestinal colic, which can last about two to three hours. And such colic is repeated sometimes during the week.
If the patient is selected with the correct medication and the appropriate diet, surgery will not be required subsequently.
Sometimes the bend of the gallbladder does not bother a person. Pain sensations appear only as a result of sharp turns, bending of the body or lifting weights. In rare cases, these actions cause the organ to twist around an axis. Bending of the neck can also occur due to its elongation or as a result of sagging bladder.
Also, pain can occur with the omission of internal organs. This happens due to regular weight lifting or in old age.
Remember that constriction of the gallbladder requires a special diet. Naturally, you need to eat often and fractionally. In the diet should be a large number of cereals that absorb bile well. In addition, the doctor may prescribe medications aimed at eliminating its stagnation. It is also a must.
Do not self-medicate. Each case of the disease is purely individual, just like its treatment, so contacting a specialist is necessary as soon as possible.
