How to play the piano dog waltz without studying at a music school, without musical hearing and knowledge of notes?

Musical instruments are of great interest, especially in children. This is probably why schoolchildren crowd around the piano in the assembly or music hall during breaks. And each of them wants to play at least something such, well-known. It just turns out for some reason "bryn-bryn". Not that the teacher, who seems to be doing the same thing, quickly presses the keys with her fingers.

This is no wonder ...

Playing the piano (colloquially called the piano) must be learned. Although, I’ll tell you a secret, as a former music teacher, they always begin to study at a music school with some kind of song, melody. Therefore, you can learn at least one, and you will already be very different from peers. Do you want, for example, to learn how to play the dog waltz on the piano? Then let's study!

Musical Myths

Many believe that you can’t play without music. And the presence of this very hearing is determined by the ability to sing beautifully, loudly and correctly, without false notes. But it is not so. It turns out that every child has a musical ear . And singing is just a skill that has been taught at school for a long time. Of course, there are exceptions when a child can “sing”. But I repeat: this is not a rule at all. Therefore, if you still doubt how to play the dog waltz on the piano , if you were told that you have no hearing, abstract yourself for a while. Just follow the instructions. And I will prove along the way that you have a musical ear.

Are customizable

My reader will probably be surprised, but we will start learning so far without a piano. Because first we need to prepare a little and “tune”, as a real instrument, to the selected melody. This will allow us to further navigate how to play the dog waltz piano. And then one day you will approach the instrument and play familiar music in front of the stunned classmates.

What a melody consists of

So, our melody consists ... no, not of notes, but of sounds given in a certain sequence. To be even more precise, it comes from rhythm and sounds. And the rhythm plays a very important task in the melody. Because if you change it, the music will change. Therefore, we first learn it.

Waltz rhythm

You must have heard that a waltz is counted in three parts: one, two, three. One more thing: one, two, three. Repeat this rhythm three times with an emphasis on "one." Now, repeat the same thing, only with the word "once" knock on the table. Excellent! You know, in our dog waltz there are two more little quick sounds. Let’s call them “tees” for convenience. So, we begin anew, not forgetting to “knock” on the table or knee. It turns out:

  • tili, one, two, three;
  • tili, one, two, three;
  • tili, one, two, three;
  • four, one, two, three.

Did you notice? Once in the melody appears the proportion “four”. Only one sound hits it. Do you remember? Then let the rattling melody again. Only now, let's try to do this with our fingers, and on the word “tili” we will “walk” first with the third, then with the second finger. The first finger is considered a thumb. At the beginning of the phrase, give the word “once” to the second finger of the left hand (we will designate “L.R.”), “two” and “three” to the fourth finger of the right hand (we will designate “P.R.”).

In the second part of the phrase:

  • tili (3-2 p.p.), times (2nd finger p.p.), two (4th finger p.p.), three (2nd finger p.p.);
  • four (3rd finger p.p.), times (2nd finger p.p.), two (3rd finger p.p.), three (same finger p.p.)

It is important! If you practice like this and everything works out without a hesitation, you can start playing the piano. I just need to tell you what keys to press, and you can understand how to play the dog waltz on the piano. The main thing: do not rush, well figure out how to put your fingers. Are you ready?

learning to play the piano

Learning to play the piano

If you look at the keys of the piano, you will see that they are grouped in two and three black ones, surrounded by their white “neighbors”. Look: after each set of black keys there are two white ones. Around the middle of the keyboard, find the pair of black keys. These are our "tealees".

The first part of the phrase

Press them from right to left with 3 and 2 fingers of the right hand. Now press with the 2nd finger of your left hand “once” the first black key, the last of the three (if you look from left to right), located to the left of our “pair”. I clarify: the "time" is after two pair of white keys to the left of the pair of black keys, okay?

Now attention!

Two, three is to the right of the tili. In fact, now you have 4 black keys under your fingers: two paired, or internal, one from them to the left, the other to the right, that is, external. By the way, “advanced” players press these external buttons (“two, three”) simultaneously with two hands. You can try, although this is not necessary, since the melody does not suffer from it. So, the first part of the phrase:

  • tilles (internal buttons), one (outer left), two, three (outer right);
  • repeat

Second part of the phrase

Here's a little complication. We will need all three black external buttons on the left. For convenience, we will consider them from right to left. That is, the one that was pressed with the 2nd finger of the left hand “once” will be the 1st, following it is the 2nd, and the next after them is the 3rd. We also need one little white key on the right side - the one next to the external right button. In the photo, all the keys we need are indicated by arrows (yellow - optional).

  • tilles (internal), times (1st left outer), two (right outer), three (2nd left outer);
  • four (right outer), one (3rd left outer), two or three (little white keys).

That is not all. There is the second part of the work. We play the game!

  • tilles (internal), times (3rd left external button), two or three (white button);
  • repeat
  • tilles (internal), times (3rd left external button), two (white button), three (2nd left external button);
  • four (white), times (1st left outer), two or three (outer right key).

Everything!

As for the musical ear, if everything worked out, then it is! And if all else fails, check if everything is done correctly. For 90% of students, the first part of the work is easy, and the second comes out only with due attention and effort.

Virtual piano

A virtual piano on a computer is no different from the original. The only thing is to identify the correspondence of buttons and keys. That's not difficult. Here are just the fingers, you may have to rearrange for convenience. Therefore, I recommend training with a real instrument. Of course, if it’s not there, then try to study on the electronic piano. Good luck!
