Biography
Born in the city of Kiev (USSR) on January 29, 1931. It is known that the grandmother of Irina was a close empress, and grandfather rose to the rank of general of the tsarist army.
In the early 1950s, she sat behind the student bench of the Moscow Art Theater School. She then studied on the course of K. S. Blinnikov and G. A. Gerasimov. In 1954, she cemented a romantic relationship with her fellow student Lev Durov by marriage. After receiving the diploma, I got a job at the Sovremennik Theater. Later she served in the Lenin Komsomol Theater. In 1967, she signed a labor agreement with the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya, in which she served until the end of her life.
Lev Durov and Irina Nikolaevna Kirichenko have a daughter, Ekaterina, who has followed in parental footsteps and today works as an actress. In 2005, she was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia.
Personal life
Actress Irina Kirichenko met her future husband in 1953 when she came to Moscow to become a third-year student at the Moscow Art Theater School, to which she transferred from the Kiev Theater Institute. As Lev Durov recalled, at the first meeting he was delighted with Irina, in which aristocracy and sophistication were clearly visible. The falling in love artist, who was then studying at the same university as Irina, beautifully looked after his chosen one, constantly gave her flowers.
The wedding happened when young people finished their studies at the Moscow Art Theater School. The newlyweds first lived with Leo's parents in a communal apartment. And although at that time they did not even have their own room and lacked normal living conditions, according to Irina and her husband, they were immensely happy. In 1959, their daughter Katya was born. The child slept in those years in a crib that Lev Durov made.

In the family, it was not customary to talk about money, although financial difficulties were present. According to Lev Durov, if you often think about money, it will not end well. Irina Kirichenko and Lev Durov worked in the same theater - the Theater on Malaya Bronnaya. Lev Durov once decided to stage a play in which he offered to play the main role to his wife. However, later he reversed his decision, and the main character in this performance was depicted on stage by another actress. Irina Kirichenko then told her husband that he should act as he sees fit, although for her it was a blow.
However, she always understood that in the theater even between close people only official relations are allowed and there should not be any concessions. It so happened that our heroine came out less and less on the stage and rarely appeared on large and small screens, unlike Lev Durov, whose fame only grew every year. But Irina Nikolaevna was never afraid to live in the shadow of her famous spouse, making the family her main life priority.
After her death, Lev Durov told that he always remembers Irina, with whom he had lived 57 wonderful years, with a kind and bright feeling that has been present in their relationship all these years.
