The plot is a post-apocalyptic anti-utopia, where almost every inhabitant of the world uses cybernetic technology. The main character is Alita, a fully modified man found in the landfill of the only remaining floating city of Salem. She is a perfect weapon created by an ancient civilization, and does not remember her past. During the plot, the viewer is given the opportunity, along with the heroes, to recreate the events of 300 years ago during the great war of the Earth and Mars.
From a technical point of view, Alita: Battle Angel is an extremely successful project with an incredible level of graphics. The main character was almost perfectly recreated with 3D-image technology, as well as its combination.
Bumblebee
The restart of the legendary Autobot Transformers series, dated to the end of 2018, from director Travis Knight. The good old story about the fractions of robots, improved by the most modern graphics.
The plot, as in the original, is incredibly simple, and the picture is spectacular. The permanent leader of the Autobots, Optima Prime, as a result of defeat from the Decepticons, sends his ward Bi-127 to Earth to erect a new stronghold of good robots. By chance, a young and unlucky robot, once on Earth, meets a 17-year-old guy. Together they become true friends, and after the invasion of the evil Decepticons on the human planet, war with the enemy becomes more difficult. Now the Autobots must not only save their appearance, but all of humanity. With cool special effects in the film, everything is just fine, but from the point of view of semantic load, everything is pretty poor.
Aquaman
One of the best superhero films of recent times, actually reanimating DC in the high-budget fantasy action movie market. This film with cool special effects has become extremely successful, having collected more than a billion dollars, liked not only by ordinary viewers, but also by critics around the world.
