In the city of Vidnoye, the art school grew out of music classes opened in 1955 at educational institution No. 1. At that time there were three of them - button accordion, violin and piano. Officially, it is believed that in the city of Vidnoe the school of art began work in 1960.
It was then that the corresponding Order of the Executive Committee of the Moscow Regional Council was signed. Initially, the institution was located within the walls of a one-story brick building on Shkolnaya Street.
Relocation
In 1992, in the city of Prominent Art School, it began to operate at a new address. She settled in the former building of the party’s district committee. In 2012, a relocation took place again. The school is located in a new, specially equipped building with an area of 7058.5 m 2 .
The room has a chamber and a large concert halls, a choreographic department, illuminated spacious classes for artists, a music library and a library. A special space is provided for playing percussion instruments.
Today
In the city of Vidnoe, the art school is equipped with modern furniture, new office equipment, as well as computers. The administration pays great attention to the acquisition of high-quality musical instruments. In 2012, the school was listed on the National Register of Leading Cultural Institutions in Russia.
In addition, this organization was included in the list of 50 best educational institutions of this type in the country. In 2014, an award was held at the State Academic Bolshoi Theater on a new stage. 95 teachers work at this school.
During its existence, the educational institution has trained over 3300 graduates. 28 of them managed to return to their native walls, as accompanists and teachers. Concerts of graduates in this educational institution are held annually. Teachers regularly spend creative evenings. Much attention is paid to concert activities at the school. The institution has a children's and pedagogical philharmonic.
