Voice of Generation from NirvanaKurt Cobain (the main singer and guitarist) - in the eyes of the media, is not just an outstanding musician, but also the “voice of a generation” - one of the few that can convey the excitement and experience of a new generation. The Nirvana group disbanded in 1994, as he died, which, however, did not prevent the growing fame of his immortal works in subsequent years.
A few facts from the history of the group
The meeting of Kurt Cobain and Chris Novoselic took place in 1982. Both of them at that time were friends and fans of the rock band The Melvins, with whom they spent most of their time. There were unsuccessful attempts by friends to create their own group. However, success came with drummer Aaron Burkhard. While the formation of the group took place, several drummers were replaced, in the end, Chad Channing remained on the post.

The first singles are released, and in 1989 in the summer the first album was released - “Bleach”, the circulation of which was 35 thousand. 1989, June 22 - Nirvana went on a big tour of 26 American cities. Funds for recording the album were given by Jason Everman, who was acquainted with Kurt through Dylan Carlson. Everman spent most of his free time with the group. The guys did not work and rehearsed all the time, so when money was needed, Everman, who had worked as a fisherman for some time, gladly made an investment for them. In gratitude, the group wrote his name on the
cover of the album as a guitar performer, although he did not participate in the recording. After completing the recording, Jason was still a temporary second guitar player - he left the Nirvana after an American tour. However, music remained his main occupation, and he several times joined other rock groups. By the way, the debt was never returned to him.
European TourAutumn, 1989 - European tour of "Nirvana". A very busy schedule: the musicians were given 42 days to play 36 concerts. The members of the group were stunned to cause such a boisterous excitement at concerts in Europe, and especially in the UK. And all because Pouniman and Pavitt contacted the English popular music magazine "Melody Maker". He provided advertising to the group.
Conclusion
What is Nirvana? This is the cry of the soul of a young musician, who had by no means a happy life. But, probably, they are unfortunate and make their way in this world, because they have something to strive for. I think that everyone should at least learn a little about this revolutionary group. What is Nirvana? These are a little aggressive teenagers - people trying to show the other side of life while someone is trying to trample them in the mud.
