"Naruto" is one of the most famous and popular Japanese animated series. And this is no accident. The Naruto universe is very well designed. It has a lot of entertaining characters. For example, Asuma Sarutobi. It is about him that we will talk in this article.
Biography
Asuma Sarutobi is Hiruzen Sarutobi, who is better known as the Third Hokage. Asuma from an early age proved to be an excellent ninja. At the age of nine, he managed to graduate from the Ninja Academy. And already at the age of twelve, Asuma successfully passed the exam for chunin.
During his youth, the guy leaves his native village. Soon, Asuma Sarutobi became a member of an elite team that defended the ruler of the Land of Fire. Asuma was so good that a reward of 35 million ryos (a fictional currency from the world of Naruto) was awarded for his head on the black market. Later, the team breaks up, and Sarutobi returns to his native village.
First season
Asuma receives a small group that consists of graduates of the Ninja Academy. The team consists of Shikamaru Naru, Akimichi Choji and Yamanaka Ino. Asuma has been helping the kids become real ninjas for months. During this time, Sarutobi is very close to his students. A little later, Asuma nominates his students for the Chunin exam. Nevertheless, only Shikamaru reaches the final. In the last battle, Naru was defeated, however, despite this, he still received the title of Chuunin.
During the Konoha exam, there is an attack from the combined forces of the Hidden Sound and Hidden Sand Villages. Shikamaru went to help Naruto and Sakura, who, in turn, are trying to save Sasuke. Sarutobi, learning about this, goes after his student. And, as it turned out, not in vain. Shikamaru fights the shinobi from the Hidden Sound Village and nearly dies. Fortunately, Asuma came on time and helped his pupil.
After some time, members of Akatsuki are declared in Konoha: Itachi Uchiha and Kisame Hoshigaki. Asuma along with Kakashi fight with uninvited guests and try to detain them. However, the opponents were too strong: Kakashi fell under the influence of the Itachi sharingan, because of which he could not continue the battle. As a result, Akatsuki members run away before help arrives.
Second season
At the beginning of the season, Asuma Sarutobi again acts as a mentor. He, along with Kakashi, is trying to train Naruto to use the elements of the wind. However, a quiet life does not last long. It became known that members of the Akatsuki group are located on the territory of the Land of Fire. Konoha forms several teams to destroy or capture opponents and sends them to the scene. Asmuma Sarutobi falls into one of these teams, which consists of his student Shikamaru and two Chunin.
Asuma Sarutobi vs. Hidan
The Asuma group finds Akatsuki members - Hidan and Kakuzu. Between them unfolding battles. During the battle, Asuma remains face to face with Hidan. Sarutobi inflicts a mortal wound on the enemy. However, Hidan does not die, as he has immortality. The battle continues, but not for long. Hidan manages to injure the Shinobi from the Hidden Leaf. After that, a member of Akatsuki curses Asuma: all wounds that will be inflicted on Hidan will also affect Sarutobi's body. Thus, Hidan strikes himself directly in the heart, causing Asuma to fall to the ground with a mortal wound.
A few more shinobi come to help Asuma's group. Among them is Ino - a student of Sarutobi. She is trying to cure her mentor directly on the battlefield. However, the injury is too serious. Asuma, realizing the inevitability of her death, tells the students his last words. After that, he lights a cigarette and dies.
Shikamaru is trying to avenge the death of his mentor and he succeeds. The young shinobi alone fights the enemy and eventually decapitates Hidan. However, this does not kill a member of Akatsuki. Shikamaru condemns Hidan to eternal torment by burying his head deep underground.
Relations with Kurenai
Even in the first episodes of the second season, Asuma Sarutobi and Kurenai quite often shone together in the same frame. Later it turns out that they are in love with each other. When Shikamaru returns to Konoha to inform Kurenai of Sarutobi’s death, it becomes clear that the woman is pregnant. Kurenai gives birth to a girl right before the start of the Fourth World War.
Asuma Sarutobi. Weapon
Asuma is a great fighter. His taijutsu skills are pretty high. In battle, Sarutobi uses a special brass knuckles, which has pointed ends. Among other things, Asuma uses a special technique called Hien. With it, shinobi can significantly strengthen their weapons. The essence of this technique is that Asuma passes the wind chakra into his brass knuckles. Thanks to this, the weapon becomes even sharper and, accordingly, dangerous.
Among other things, Asuma often uses the Dust Storm Technique. Shinobi releases a huge stream of wind and dust from his mouth. Sarutobi does this in order to blind his opponents and deliver an unexpected blow.
