The drug "Conium" refers to a one-component homeopathic medicines. It has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, sedative and anticonvulsant effects. It contains an extract of one of the most poisonous plants of the umbelliferous family - the hemlock spotted.

The active ingredient of Konium ointment is Konium D1 tincture (1 g), auxiliary ingredients are added in the form of medical vaseline and anhydrous lanolin.
About the plant
This is a two-year-old plant, reaching a height of two meters. They began to call it that because of the toxic effects exerted on the body. Since the first year of hemlock consists of a bunch of root leaves resembling parsley or carrots, they can easily be poisoned. The first signs of poisoning are headache and dizziness. The stem of the plant grows in the second year. It becomes branched, hollow, with a bluish tint and has dark red spots below. White small flowers are folded into complex umbrellas.
