So that during this procedure the berries do not run away, it is recommended to pour them into a colander or sieve. Next, the fruits should be shaken so that they completely lose moisture. If necessary, cranberries can be placed on a waffle towel and held there for 5-8 minutes.
Processing the main ingredient

sugar is poured into it. To do this, prepared fruits should be placed in a blender, and then chopped into a pulp at the highest speed. If you do not have such a device, then you can grind the berries in a food processor or meat grinder.
Formation of a sweet billet
After the cranberries are crushed to a puree state, it must be laid out in an enameled basin, and then white sugar should be poured. Both components should be mixed well with a large spoon, and then left in the dish for a while at room temperature. If desired, such a blank can be kept warm all night.
