"Bee Adaptation": composition and discography

Bees Adaptation (also known as Beesadaptic) is an alternative music group from Russia that defines its style as β€œcyber grunge”. Its sound resembles a synthesis of grunge and cyberpunk. The musicians themselves specifically use the letter "d" in the word "grunge", ironically pointing to the ideological inspirer - the author of the songs and the vocalist of the group.

The current team

At the moment, the group consists of 4 members:

Dizzy is a guitarist, frontman and songwriter.

Max is a guitar player.

Asi is a drummer.

Vs - computer and keyboards.

About the group

The team built its unusual name on associations from the first phrase heard in a biology lesson, a series about the attack of experimental bees in the once-popular science-fiction series The X-Files and the image of honeycombs on the cover of The Beatles A Taste of Honey, published by Melody.

Musical handwriting

The songs "Bee Adaptations" are characterized by a sharp change of mood and the ultimate density of sounds, especially in tracks with electronic elements.

bee adaptation chords

The word "cyber grunge" reflects the multifaceted and abstract essence of the real picture of the collective's work: an explosive mixture of electronics and alternative sound with catchy rhythm sections and rich enveloping vocals. The Bees Adaptation received the most flattering reviews about their music. The chords of their songs are distinguished by clarity, anguish and rhythm. On the one hand, this is almost a classic alternative rock, but much more is hidden inside these melodies: keyboard ambient, echoes of techno and even post-punk, echoing in transitions. From album to album, the sound of "Bee Adaptation" is becoming more multi-layered and intriguing. Each new thing released seems to continue all that was before, but at the same time it goes to a completely different level. This is especially noticeable on the disc "Melonoy", which became a new round in their work, retaining all the best that was before, and giving the audience something completely unexpected.

bee adaptation

Everything is digitized in their songs: voice, guitars, drums, melody and even lyrics are saturated with some secret cybernetic meaning. But in this case, such a widespread use of computer technology is a plus. It helps to create an almost cosmic atmosphere that makes you forget during listening, and the names of the tracks are mixed in one long musical journey from the first chords to the state of zero gravity.
