Kormukhina Olga was born in the first month of summer in 1960. Her family was not directly related to music, her father, Boris, was the chief engineer, and her mother, Faina, worked in an architectural museum. However, music was constantly present in their house. The head of the family had an unusually beautiful tenor, but he sang only with his family and close friends, and Olga's brother, Andrei, accompanied his father’s songs by playing the piano. Over the years, the whole country recognizes him as a talented composer.
Children grew up in a creative atmosphere, and parents instilled in them a love of classical music. But despite this, Olga was closer to rock. Although the girl firmly decided to become a famous singer, after graduating from school she entered the architect, but after studying a little, she realized that she had chosen the wrong path. Olga Kormukhina’s creative biography began in 1980, after she won the Grand Prix Best Solo Vocal Grand Prix at the Nizhny Novgorod Spring Jazz and Rock Festival. After that, numerous offers for cooperation fell upon the young talent, but the girl chose her own path - she began to sing in restaurants. For three years of work in institutions, she accumulated not only diverse song capital, but also money, because she firmly decided to conquer Moscow. When she worked in restaurants, she was repeatedly offered cooperation, but she refused. The girl was waiting for such an offer, which she could not refuse, and waited.
Kormukhina subdued the famous composer and jazzman Oleg Lundstrem with her vocals. He invited her to move to Moscow and solo in his team. Kormukhina Olga agreed right away, that is how her dream of life in the capital came true.
Creative way in Moscow
Olga did not work for the great jazzman for long, it was a kind of launching pad for the beginning of her creative career in the capital. Soon she became a member of the group of Anatoly Kroll, and a little later fulfilled her dream and entered Gnesinka. Studying in her third year, Olga went to Jurmala for the contest and brought a special prize from the jury from there, and also met the poetess Pushkina Margarita. Subsequently, they became close friends and recorded more than one joint song.
In 1989, Olga realized that she no longer wanted to perform in groups, and began a solo career. Only now Olga Kormukhina’s songs are pop. Since the beginning of solo swimming, the singer has toured a lot, participated in numerous competitions and won more than one victory, released a solo album in 1992 and even played in a movie. She went to Zalit Island in 1997, where she met her future husband, the founder and musician of the Gorky Park group, Belov Alexey. They have been together for over 20 years, she is the happiest mother and beloved wife. She again began to record songs and discovered another talent in herself - the director and even made three films, while simultaneously entering the VGIK. Since 2012, she regularly participates in the rock festival "Invasion", and is also the organizer of the festival of good deeds.
