They are approaching their logical conclusion of the reconstruction of one of the oldest institutions, which, thanks to its spectacular productions, has won many admirers of absolutely all age categories. The Tula circus turned out to be in a state of repair, which for a long time was waiting in line to gain an attractive facade.
Interesting facts about the circus life of Tula 19 century
The development of circus art in such an ancient city as Tula began at the end of the 19th century. Among the founders of this type of art were the Truzzi brothers. They had their own building for incredibly interesting and comical productions, with which they toured around the world.
After the collapse of the aforementioned circus, its activity continued the building, no less popular at the time, which accommodated a fairly large number of people. Among the legendary personalities who headed the Tula circus was Roman Gamsakhurdia: thanks to him, this branch of art became popular for the world community.
For the building in which the Tula circus was located, 1949 became a landmark. The merciless fire destroyed him beyond recognition, which not only the townspeople, but the whole country grieved for. And only in 1963 the building was restored and equipped with a system that prevents the occurrence of fires.
The long-awaited circus repair
Thanks to the current leadership of the region of the same name, funding was allocated to one of the city’s calling cards, which is the Tula Circus. Opening after the repair of the latter is scheduled for the end of this year. If we talk about the state of repair today, the reconstruction is coming to a logical conclusion. This is confirmed by the local leadership, which keeps this issue under strict control and the strict guidance of professionals.
It should also be noted that this kind of work, which is distinguished by such a grandiose scale, is being carried out for the first time in the last thirty years in the Tula region. The closing of the circus for the purpose of reconstruction took place in the summer season of 2014. According to preliminary initial estimates, the approximate cost of the work amounted to about 200 million Russian rubles.
Repeatedly, information appeared in the media about the planned completion of work at this facility and its large-scale opening, which was planned for September this year.

Indeed, the reconstruction project took into account that it became an attractive and attractive place for visitors, where you could relax with your family, laugh and get a positive attitude for a long time.

Oddly enough, the federal budget became the source of financing for repair work, thanks to which it will again become possible to visit such an institution as the Tula Circus. The repair also touched the foyer of the aforementioned building, which will appear in a completely different role. The changes affected not only the interior solutions, but also the lighting system, which is one of the most important problems.
Opening of the circus after a triumphal reconstruction
The loud and enchanting opening of the building was planned for September, based on plans that were originally built around such an object as the Tula Circus. The opening, unfortunately, was postponed for a longer period. This date corresponds to the beginning of winter of the current year.
In addition to internal and external repair work, it was planned to replace engineering communications and facilities for the comfortable living of animals participating in stunning circus performances, as well as ventilation and heating systems, which are components of the institution's smooth and trouble-free operation.
It should be noted that such a transformation of the circus was planned in the recent 2012. According to the project, this place was to become a kind of entertainment complex with the presence of a play area, halls for watching movies and concerts, and a hotel. But in the future, the city leadership abandoned this idea.
