Team History
Russian students learned about the Mayakovsky band in January 2013. Four talented guys organized a quartet and named it after the famous Russian poet. The guys made their own way into show business. They had neither producers nor sponsors. At the same time, the name of the group obliged to create truly high-quality musical material. The guys should not have disgraced the name of an outstanding poet.
Mayakovsky Group: composition of the group
All the guys have long been calling each other. But each of them had his own creative life. The guys performed in different groups and never thought that such drastic changes await them.
Today, many residents of Moscow and other large cities are aware of what Mayakovsky is. The composition of its participants is as follows:
1. Ilya Samitov.
For several years he was a soloist of the Khaki group. But at some point, Ilya decided to leave the team.
2. Dmitry Tikhonov.
This guy managed to light up in the popular youth series "Ranetki." A few years ago, he founded the Balabama group, but failed to promote it.
3. Ilya Zelenov.
Professional drummer. He worked as part of the 4Post group. Soon he left the band and created his own drum show, with which he traveled all over Russia. One fine day he was tired of touring life.
4. Evgeny Potapchuk.
A talented vocalist, author of songs and musical material. At the invitation of Ilya Samitov, Zhenya arrived in Moscow and became a member of the Mayakovsky group.
Performances
For 2 years, the Mayakovsky group has existed. Its composition did not change during this time. The first collaborative songs were written in a warm home environment. The guys gathered in a small kitchen in the rented apartment of Ilya Samitov. High-quality material, professional vocals and a decent musical frame - all this allowed the team to break through to the Russian stage.
At first, the quartet performed in Moscow clubs. Every day there are more and more fans. They were interested in the Mayakovsky group, the composition of the group. Photos of talented guys appeared in local print media. And their compositions “Sorry”, “Like” and “Paris” with pleasure began to turn popular radio stations.
Today, the schedule of performances and tours of the youth team is painted every day. They are invited to corporate parties, weddings and private events.
Collaboration with Olga Seryabkina
In November 2014, a video by Mayakovsky for the song “Weak” was released on MTV. Many listeners liked this track. The guys did not hide the fact that they just performed the composition. The music was written for them by producer Max Fadeev, who has recently been promoting the team. And the author of the words is Olga Seryabkina, the soloist of the Silver group.
