Beef stewed in sour cream and other recipes

This method of cooking meat, like stewing, helps to make it soft, juicy and maintain the maximum of useful substances that it contains. Beef stewed in sour cream is a very tasty dish, and in order to reduce its calorie content, it is recommended to mix sour cream with water. Recipe number 1. Beef stewed in sour cream

Ingredients:

  • beef meat - 700 g;
  • sour cream 15% - 120 g;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • salt, seasoning.

Cut the beef into small pieces. It should be noted that the smaller the pieces, the faster the meat will cook. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil (in a small amount) and put beef on it. Oil is necessary only so that the meat does not burn when you spread it on a hot frying pan. Indeed, during cooking, beef will let juice. Then you will need to reduce the fire to a minimum and cover the pan with a lid. Every 7 minutes it is necessary to stir the meat. In parallel, clean and wash the onion, then cut into rings. Add the onion to the beef and simmer for a while until it is fried. Dilute sour cream with water 50 to 50, add salt, seasonings to taste and pour the meat with the mixture. Leave the beef stew under a closed lid over low heat. After 20 minutes, she will be ready. Beef stewed in sour cream is very soft, juicy and tasty. Recipe number 2. Beef stewed in sour cream

Ingredients for cooking:

  • beef - 1 kg;
  • onion - a few pieces;
  • sour cream - 400 g;
  • ground black pepper;
  • salt;
  • bay leaf;
  • vegetable oil.

Beef must be washed, dried and cut into small pieces. Then sprinkle with pepper, salt and fry in vegetable oil until a crust forms. After that, we transfer the meat to the stewpan. Peel the onion, wash, cut into half rings and fry. Then put the onion on top of the meat and pour sour cream (previously diluted in water). Stew the beef for about two hours. At the end of its preparation, add bay leaf and simmer another 12 minutes. After this, the meat must be left for a short time (10 minutes) so that it cools slightly. Beef stewed in sour cream is ready to eat.

Recipe number 3. Beef stewed in the oven

Ingredients for cooking:

  • beef - 2 kg;
  • garlic - 11 cloves;
  • carrots - a few pieces;
  • salt, spices;
  • vegetable oil;
  • greens.

The meat must be washed, remove the film. Peel the garlic, peel and rinse the carrots too, then grate. Mix carrots, spices, garlic and stuff the resulting meat mass. After that, lightly fry the beef in vegetable oil. Then place it in a sleeve or foil and bake for about two hours (180 degrees).

Recipe number 4. Braised beef in Italian

Ingredients:

  • cinnamon - 1 stick;
  • cloves - 4 pcs.;
  • sweet peas - 3 pcs.;
  • black pepper - 6 peas;
  • olive oil - 3 tablespoons;
  • beef - 1.5 kg;
  • onion - 1 pc.;
  • garlic - 4 cloves;
  • celery - 2 arrows;
  • carrots - a few pieces;
  • dry red wine - 1 cup;
  • tomatoes - 700 g;
  • parsley.

First you need to mix cinnamon, sweet peas, cloves, black peas and grind in a coffee grinder to form a powder. Heat olive oil and fry the meat on both sides for about 12 minutes. Then place in slowcocker.

After that, fry the onion until browned and add garlic, carrots, celery and fry for about 4 minutes. Add chopped spices in a coffee grinder and fry for several minutes. Then add red wine and cook for another 12 minutes. Add the sliced โ€‹โ€‹tomatoes to this mixture. On the meat, which is in the slow cooker, put the prepared mixture and cook in low mode for about 8 hours.
