Drug interaction

This tool can be prescribed as part of complex therapy with antibacterial and antipyretic drugs, as well as vitamins. With the concomitant use of the Bronchoton drug, monoamine oxidase inhibitors cause headaches, increase the likelihood of arrhythmias, hypertensive crisis and cerebral hemorrhages, therefore, syrup can be used only two weeks after the withdrawal of such medications. The simultaneous use of sleeping pills and drugs helps to weaken their effect. Sympatholytics reduce the hypotensive effect of the sympathomimetic effects of ephedrine. Non-selective beta-blockers reduce their antihypertensive effect, as well as the bronchodilator properties of Bronchoton. Tricyclic antidepressants, quinidine, cardiac glycosides and some sympathomimetics increase the likelihood of developing arrhythmias.

Application with dexamethasone reduces the therapeutic effect of the latter. Hypoglycemic oral agents and insulin reduce hypoglycemic activity. Drugs that stimulate the central nervous system, and tonic drinks can increase the stimulating effect of the drug on the nervous system. During the period of therapy should not use expectorants, alkalizing urine drugs (sodium bicarbonate). Due to the risk of adverse reactions, syrup with oxytocin and medications that contain ergot alkaloids are used with caution.

In the instructions for the Bronchoton syrup, analogues are not indicated. Consider them below.
