At the Komissarzhevskaya Theater in St. Petersburg, among the actors there is a legend about how Vladimir Vysotsky courted Olga Belyavskaya. The young actress in every possible way rejected signs of attention from the famous actor-poet, to which he jokingly said that when she grows up, she will regret it.
No one knows whether Olga Belyavskaya regretted it or not, but the actress is famous for her intelligence, friendliness and optimism among her colleagues. In the theater where she plays, there is no one who would be bad for this actress. On a tour in Tokyo, after the performance, catching a taxi and gesturing to the driver’s question - where are they going? - Olga enthusiastically answered “To the ocean!”.
Only the hereditary actress could answer that way. She is always drawn to the ocean, to the sky, to the stars!
Actress Biography
Olga Belyavskaya was born on September 25, 1959 in Leningrad. Her father, Leonid Savelyevich Belyavsky, worked all his life as a director in the Riga Russian Theater, received the title of Honored Theater Director and People's Artist of the RSFSR.
The girl had no doubts about the choice of a profession, and in 1976 she entered the Shchukin Theater School, falling on the course of L.V. Kalinovsky. After graduating from the Higher Theater School, the future actress began to work in the Riga Russian Theater, where her father served, but worked there for a year and moved to the Leningrad Maly Drama Theater. There Olga Belyavskaya lasted a little longer - five years - and again left, but already forever in the V.F. Komissarzhevskaya Theater. This happened in 1991. Since then, she has not gone anywhere.
Olga began to act in films early, the first film with her participation “Melody for Two Voices” did not pass without a trace in the history of Russian cinema. The role of Olga was small, but memorable.
Olga Belyavskaya. Filmography
Then the actress starred in the historical film "Yaroslav the Wise", where she played Nezhdan. On the set of the film, she was lucky enough to meet with eminent actors, People's Artist of the USSR Peter Veniaminov, with Yuri Muravin - Honored Artist of Ukraine, with Nikolai Grinko, with Wenceslas Dvorzhetsky and other actors.
Olga Belyavskaya, despite the stagnation in the life of the country (it was the eighties), played in one drama “The Case of Real Men”, where Borislav Brondukov played the main role. The actress also starred in such films as “Fairies Autumn Gift”, “Be Healthy, Dear”, “White Nights”, “Tartuffe”, “Don Giovanni, or Love for Geometry”, “Two Hussars”, “The First Night of the Moon” and in many other paintings.
Like most actors and actresses, Olga from the beginning of the nineties to the beginning of the zero years was not in demand. After a long period, starting in 2001, she began to actively star in series such as Streets of Broken Lights, Protection of Witnesses. “Letters on Glass”, “Three Happy Women”, “Such Work”, “Favorite”, where she played Countess Saltykov, “Gold of Troy ...”, where she got the role of Miss Strange and so on.
Theatrical work of the actress
Olga Belyavskaya is primarily a theatrical actress. And although the camera loves her, and in the movie she looks harmonious and natural, but still, stepping on the stage, Olga is completely transformed, sometimes the partners do not recognize a fragile person from a brittle intelligent woman from any performance.
Her talent opened in the production of "Pit" by Kuprin. Olga Belyavskaya plays Manka, and this must be seen as she runs into the middle of the stage in pigtails and white pantaloons and after a few minutes turns into a huge woman, flashing up for any reason.
This actress has a rare talent that allows her to transfer from one state to another without much tension. From Bats and Squirrels, Olga Belyavskaya easily turns into Ophelia and Juliet.
The lawyer of their heroines
As an example, we can compare the two roles of this wonderful actress. In the production of Ostrovsky’s play “Slave Girl”, she played a bitchy emancipated woman, and in the play by Anton Chekhov “Live Goods”, the heroine of Olga Leonidovna was a surprisingly airy, tender creature.
I even feel sorry for her negative heroines, try to understand, apparently, the actress remembers the golden rule of the actor - when playing a “bad” character, you need to look for something good in him that you can cling to. In fact, Olga Belyavskaya, the photo of which can be seen in this article, is a constant defender of her heroines.
Easy breath
On the first of November 2016 the Komissarzhevskaya Theater celebrated the anniversary of its favorite - 35 years of creative activity of the Honored Artist of Russia Olga Leonidovna Belyavskaya.
Her colleagues and partners on the stage, friends and spectators generously shared their impressions of the actress. The honored artist of Russia Evgenia Igumnova spoke well and warmly about the actress. Having got acquainted better with Olga Leonidovna, Eugene was struck by one line, or rather, the absence of this trait in the actress.
As you know, the profession of an actor is dependent, many of them have been waiting for offers for months, or even years, often take the first role that comes across and suffer unbearably from this. And suffering spills over into depression. So, Olga Leonidovna Belyavskaya lacks the gene for depression, probably the only one from the whole cast of actors.
Olga Belyavskaya, even in a sad mood, always laughs a little at herself or at seeming difficulties. It seems to hover over the entire perishable world. According to Evgenia Igumnova, Olga Leonidovna Belyavskaya is a person with light breathing!
