The actress was born on May 25, 1974 in the city of St. Petersburg. Having received a VGIK diploma in 1997, Alexandra Kulikova was invited to the troupe of the Moon Theater. At first, the young artist had to play in extras. Her first work on the big stage was her participation in the play Poisoned Tunic based on the novel by Gumilyov. This was immediately followed by a major role in the popular play Before the Sunset. The story tells about the fate of the killer Peter April, forced to fulfill orders for the "godfather" of the Russian mafia. At one point, the roads of the killer and one of the victims intersect. Together they go on an adventurous business, opposing the will of a powerful criminal authority. Not the last role in history is played by Alla - the beloved woman of the protagonist.

Personal life
Alexandra’s life outside the set was pretty happy. Even at the start of her career, the artist began a relationship with the director Ilya Khrzhanovsky. Soon the first-born of the famous couple was born - a boy who was named Andrew. The latter followed in the footsteps of his parents and also became a successful theater actor.
However, the marriage with Khrzhanovsky lasted only a few years. The reason for the breakdown was the distance. The actress and director on duty had to be in different cities. Young people could not stand the test, regular quarrels began to occur between them, and the family broke up.
