1. First you need to make auxiliary constructions. This will be an oval, which will later become the head of a cat, and a circle partially overlapping with an oval and slightly smaller in comparison with it - the future body. It is recommended that the oval be divided by auxiliary lines into four equal parts: vertically and horizontally. These features will help later draw the face of the animal.
2. The oval should be slightly “ragged”, making the contour not a straight line, but depicting strands of wool. It is also recommended to make small angles smoothed in a smooth line at the top of the head and at the bottom, and from below they should be slightly larger than the top. Thus, the shape of the head begins to approximately resemble a trapezoid with rounded corners.
3. On the horizontal line dividing the oval of the head, large eyes are located using two arcs: the top is larger and less concave, and the bottom is smaller, but more curved. A little below the intersection of the auxiliary lines of the muzzle on the vertical line is a triangle of the nose, which "looks" with its vertex down. The mouth is also drawn on a vertical line, dividing its lower part in half.
4. Now you should make the cat’s pupils, draw mustaches and wrinkles on his forehead, if he is conceived upset or angry.
5. To draw triangular ears to the character is not difficult. Just do not forget that their inner part should be separated from the outer.
