For a children's holiday or just for a family celebration, you can bake a funny turtle cake.

The number of ingredients is based on a medium-sized cake. If you have many guests, then you can safely take twice as much. For the test you need six large chicken eggs, a glass of sugar, one and a half glasses of flour, a standard bag of baking powder. For cream - butter (two hundred grams, only high-quality, not a spread), a glass of sugar, two glasses of sour cream. For chocolate glaze: three tablespoons of sugar and cocoa, five tablespoons of milk, fifty grams of butter.

Break all the eggs into a wide bowl at once, add sugar and beat.

It will be much better if you take powdered sugar. It can be made at home. You just need to grind ordinary white sugar in a coffee grinder or in a blender. This will help make the whipped mass more uniform and ductile. From the cakes later it will be easier to form the βTurtleβ cake. The recipe may contain a different amount of flour, but first take a glass and a half. In the future, you will understand whether it is a lot or a little, according to the density of cakes. Add flour to the egg-sugar mass, sifting directly into the bowl with the baking powder. Whip again. The dough is quite thin, slightly thicker than pancake. You can bake cakes in forms, or you can simply pour ladle on a baking sheet. Be careful, and the dough spreads symmetrical round pancakes. They should be small. Bake on two baking sheets. In order for the small cakes to be well baked, five or seven minutes will be enough. If your oven is very powerful, you will have to control so that the dough does not burn. The cream should be prepared by kneading melted butter (but not melted!) With a spoonful of sugar and sour cream.

If you add green food coloring, you will have the opportunity to very brightly and originally
decorate the cake, build a real green turtle. This will delight the children. It can be done differently: first mix sugar and sour cream, then drive in butter. Start assembling: put the cooled cakes in the shape of an oval, water and coat with cream. Leave half of the sour cream mixture to decorate. From several cakes, make the face, paws and tail of a turtle. Garnish with green cream on top. Let it cool in the refrigerator for one night. When the cake has hardened, cover with a glaze prepared from the indicated ingredients in a water bath. Apply it gently to the top cake with chilled cream, imitating a pattern
of tortoise shell. Can be used to decorate kiwi. In this case, you do not need to add green dye to the cream, and you will have a completely natural βTurtleβ cake. The recipe should be adjusted taking into account the addition of fruit slices: take the cream a little less. Lay the layers with flat slices of chopped kiwi and lay the tortoise shell on top of them.
