The tool "Tiogamma." Instruction Contraindications

The drug is not prescribed during pregnancy, individual intolerance, lactation. Cases of the use of the medication for children are not described, in connection with which, the appointment in childhood is not recommended.

If it is necessary to conduct therapy for lactation, breastfeeding must be canceled.

The use of the medication (intravenously) can provoke diplopia, convulsions. An increase in intracranial pressure can occur with rapid administration of the drug. The following manifestations are also likely: thrombophlebitis, hemorrhagic rash, point hemorrhages in the skin and mucous membranes.

In some cases, the use of the drug causes urticaria, systemic reactions (including anaphylactic shock).

Taking the drug orally (tablets inside) can provoke vomiting, heartburn, nausea.

The instructions include the development (in connection with an increase in glucose uptake) of hypoglycemia among the other manifestations of the use of the Tiogamma medication. After intravenous (fast) administration, breathing difficulty is possible, which is resolved on its own.

During the therapeutic course, it is recommended to refrain from taking alcohol.

During treatment, it is necessary to monitor the concentration of glucose in the blood. In some cases, it may be necessary to adjust the dosage of hypoglycemic drugs.

An overdose is manifested by vomiting, headache, nausea. Symptomatic therapy is carried out in this condition.

The combined use of the drug "Tiogamma" (solution for injection) with cisplatin reduces the effectiveness of the latter.

The active component (thioctic acid) is able to enhance the action of hypoglycemic drugs for oral use and insulin while using it.

With the combined use of ethanol with the drug "Tiogamma", the therapeutic effectiveness of the active substance of the latter decreases.

Thioctic acid is able to react with metal ions (complex) inside (with cisplatin, for example). In addition, the component forms complex compounds (moderately soluble) with sugar molecules. Thus, the injection solution does not combine with Ringer's solution, glucose, and others capable of reacting with disulfide bridges or SH-groups.

The medicine "Tiogamma" in tablet form is to be stored out of the reach of children and light at fifteen to twenty-five degrees. The shelf life of the drug is three years. After the specified time, the use is prohibited.

Thanks to a-lipoic acid, which is part of the preparation, the Tiogamma medicine is used by some women in cosmetology. It is known that this component is a very useful vitamin for the skin. Thus, the infusion solution is applied to the face.
