Theater History
The eight-time Golden Mask Prize winner, winner and winner of various festivals and contests - all this is a musical comedy theater (Novosibirsk). The history of its existence originates in 1959, then it was founded. Theater actors every year take an active part in various competitions and festivals. Novosibirsk Muskom creates new modern projects and at the same time preserves and develops the best classical traditions. The Novosibirsk Musical Comedy Theater is the organizer of the festival “Other Shores”. Various productions that have been created over the past few years take part in it. These are new original compositions in the field of musical theater. In 2010, the State Conservatory and the Musical Comedy Theater (Novosibirsk) created a joint project called “Young People Remember.” It was dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory. Within the framework of this project, two performances were shown: "At the beginning of May" and "And the dawns here are quiet ..." Performances were shown on the stage of the theater. Together with the actors of the Novosibirsk Musical Comedy, students of the conservatory took part in them.
In 2011, the theater began to actively tour the cities of Siberia. The best theatrical figures of our country, the winners of the Golden Mask Prize, People's Artists of Russia, Honored Artists and so on are invited to carry out the productions.
Troupe
Musical Comedy Theater (Novosibirsk) - 37 soloists, ballet, choir and orchestra. Among the actors, three have the title of People's Artist of Russia. These are Ivan Romashko, Alexander Vyskribentsev and Olga Titkova. Five actors were awarded the title of Honored Artist of Russia. These are Veronika Grishulenko, Lyudmila Chaliapina, Vera Alferova, Marina Akhmedova and Vladimir Valvachev. In addition, there are actors in the troupe who do not yet have the title of People’s or Honored Artist, but they are laureates of the Golden Mask national theater prize. This is Elizaveta Dorofeeva, Natalya Danilson, Evgeny Dudnik, Roman Romashov. And also laureates of the Novosibirsk theater prize "Paradise". These are Svetlana Sklemina, Yana Kovanko, Alexey Shtykov, Anna Frokolo, Marina Kokoreva.
Artistic director
The Novosibirsk Theater of Musical Comedy today lives under the direction of Leonid Mikhailovich Kipnis. He has the title of Honored Artist of Russia. In 1975, Leonid Mikhailovich graduated from the Theater School in Novosibirsk, the acting department. After that, he continued his education. In 1981, he graduated from the Leningrad Institute of Theater, Music and Cinema at the Department of Theater Studies. And in 1986 he graduated from graduate school. Along with his studies at the faculty of theater studies, he worked as a reader at the Novosibirsk Philharmonic, and then became its artistic director. Leonid Mikhailovich became director of the musical comedy theater in 1995. Thanks to him, the repertoire has become more diverse: productions have appeared that allow actors to fully reveal all their talents and creative possibilities. Leonid Mikhailovich - active, purposeful, he develops and improves the theater, which he leads.
In 2008, L. Kipins was awarded the title of “Man of Business in Culture” at the annual interregional competition.
