This recipe has several main ingredients: minced meat, potatoes and sauce. As in the first case, this casserole with minced meat and potatoes in a slow cooker is done in two stages. First, drain the fat from the minced meat and chop the potatoes, then proceed to the main cooking process. If you use young root vegetables, you can not peel them.

Once the casserole is ready, open the slow cooker, put the grated cheese on top, and then cook for another five minutes so that it can melt.

Cooking puff casserole
This is a very simple recipe for casserole with minced meat and potatoes in a slow cooker. In a medium skillet, fry the minced meat over moderate heat until it ceases to be pink. Use paper towels to remove fat from it.
In a large bowl, combine mushroom sauce, milk, sour cream, onion, pepper and salt. Lightly grease the bowl of the multicooker. Put the bottom layer of half the potatoes, fill with part of the sauce and spread out half the minced meat. Repeat these layers again. Cook on the quench mode for an hour and a half. Then open the slow cooker and sprinkle the dish with cheese. Close the lid and continue cooking for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese has melted.
Option with ground beef and corn
As noted above, one of the simplest dishes that can be prepared using a modern kitchen device is a casserole with minced meat and potatoes in a slow cooker. Recipes from the photo confirm that this dish can be not only tasty, but also quite original in appearance. Below is an option that combines tender potatoes, sauce, meat, corn and cheese. In total, you will need:
- 500 grams of ground beef;
- 1 cup white onion, diced;
- 1/4 tsp salt;
- 1/4 tsp pepper;
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder;
- 300 ml creamy mushroom sauce;
- 2 cans of canned corn, without liquid;
- 750 grams of reddish potatoes (about 5 cups diced);
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese.
Cooking Corn Casserole
Sauté the beef and onion in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain the fat. Wash and dry the potatoes. Cut it into cubes, leaving the skins (if you take young root crops). Put the potatoes in the bowl of the multicooker.
Place the fried minced meat with onion in the second layer. In a separate bowl, combine mushroom sauce, salt, pepper, garlic powder, corn and half cheese. Stir. Spread the mixture on top of the minced meat with another layer. Close the lid and cook in quenching mode for an hour and a half. After that, open the slow cooker, add the remaining cheese (in an additional layer) to the prepared dish, then close the device again and cook the casserole for about ten more minutes.
Option with vegetable mixture and mustard
This is another interesting variation of the casserole with minced meat and potatoes in a slow cooker. In this dish layers of meat and vegetables are poured with a delicate sauce, which makes the texture very pleasant. In addition, this recipe is universal: you can vary it almost to infinity, depending on what is in your refrigerator.
You can also use both frozen vegetables and fresh ones. Any ready-made frozen mixture is suitable: Mexican, Bulgarian and so on (you should not just take Hawaiian, as rice and potatoes will give an excess of starch). All the preparation will take you literally several minutes necessary to put all the components in the multicooker bowl. The result is a complete meal that can be consumed on its own, but still it is better to supplement it with a small amount of fresh green salad and crisp bread.
The basic version of the recipe requires the use of the following components:
- 1 kg of potatoes, peeled and chopped;
- 500 grams of lean ground beef;
- 1 small onion, diced;
- 2 cups of any mixture of chopped vegetables (fresh or frozen);
- 1 cup mayonnaise;
- 1 cup of milk;
- 1/4 teaspoon of tea garlic powder;
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard;
- salt and pepper to taste;
- 2 cups grated cheddar cheese.
Cooking Beef Vegetable Casserole
Sauté the beef and onion over moderate heat until the pink color fades. Drain the fat.
In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise, milk, garlic powder, dry mustard, salt and pepper. Set aside for a while.
Place half the potatoes in a greased multicooker bowl. Then lay the toasted minced beef, mixed vegetables, remaining potatoes and finally cheese. Pour the sauce on top, close the lid and cook in the simmer for about an hour. After that, the casserole with minced meat and potatoes in a slow cooker is ready.
If you wish, you can upgrade this recipe as you wish. For example, adding mushrooms-champignons will additionally allow you to get a more delicate taste of the dish, and at the same time it will become even more satisfying. If you do not use mayonnaise, you can make a very simple replacement of the components. Just use non-fat sour cream or cream instead.
It will just look great in this dish and green onions or leeks. It is enough to cut it into small pieces. If you want to give your casserole a fatter consistency, you can add fried bacon to it.
