Egor Bortnik: biography, childhood and youth
He was born on September 2, 1972 in Minsk, the capital of the Republic of Belarus. He has Jewish and Russian roots. Yegor’s father graduated with a degree in radio physics. And mother was a housewife.

In 1988, Yegor Bortnik and Alexander Uman created their own group. It was called the Brothers in Arms. The guys spent a lot of time recording songs and rehearsing. And their efforts were not in vain. At the festival in Minsk, the guys took first place. After a successful performance, the friends renamed the group “Coast of Truth”. And in 1989, Yegor and Sasha reduced the name to "Bi-2."
First, the group toured the cities of Belarus. Then there was a break in work. In 1993, Shura moved to Australia. And only after 5 years, Leva followed him.
In the fall of 1999, the Bi-2 group went to Russia. And today, this rock band knows and loves almost every second resident of our country. In the creative piggy bank of Leva and Shura there are 9 studio albums, several clips and hundreds of concerts. Their songs became the soundtracks for various films. For example, in the paintings “Brother-2”, “Sisters” and “Brotherhood of the Airborne Troops” the composition “Nobody writes to the Colonel” sounds.
Personal life
Egor Bortnik (Leva) twice officially formalized relations in the registry office. His first wife is Irina Makeeva. They met in the early 2000s. It was love at first sight. After a couple of months from the date of meeting, the guy and the girl began to live under one roof. In 2002, their firstborn was born - the son Fedor. Only when the boy was one year old did Yegor and Irina go to the registry office. Unfortunately, family happiness did not last long. The couple quietly and peacefully parted.
Egor’s current wife is Asya Streicher. Once she was his first love. And now feelings flashed with renewed vigor. In January 2008, their common son Aviv was born. At that time, lovers were in a civil marriage. Officially, they became husband and wife only in October 2009. Soon they had another son, who was named David.
