Potashinskaya Olesya is a Russian theater and film actress. She gained fame by starring in the films “8 1/2 dollars”, “Zoya”, “Take me with you”, “Madame Victory” and others. Biography
The artist was born in 1973, on May 8, in Leningrad. Parents gave their daughter the name Olga, but since she did not like her, the girl from childhood asked everyone to refer to her as Oles. At an early age, Potashinskaya was interested in figure skating, and from the age of 9 she was engaged in a puppet theater in the Palace of Pioneers in Leningrad.
The actress received higher education in 1994 at the Moscow Art Theater School-Studio (workshop of O. Tabakov). Olesya Potashinskaya studied on the same course with S. Bezrukov, S. Ugryumov, M. In 2003, Olesya became the wife of restaurateur Dmitry Yampolsky four months after they met. Soon, the actress became pregnant and gave birth to her husband a daughter, Sofia.
