Required products for filling and dough:
- kefir 3% thick (you can use sour milk instead) - 500 ml;
- chicken large egg - 6 pcs. (of which 1 to the dough, and the rest to the filling);
- small table salt - 1.5 dessert spoons;
- baking soda without quenching - 1 dessert spoon without a slide;
- flavourless sunflower oil - 2/3 faceted glasses (of which 2 large spoons are intended for dough, and the rest for frying dishes);
- wheat flour - from 550 g;
- fresh leek - a large bunch;
- melted butter - 70 ml.
Base kneading process
Before making a quick pie on kefir, you need to mix the steep base well. To do this, slightly warm 500 ml of kefir, and then extinguish baking soda in it, pour in table salt (1 dessert spoon), break the chicken egg, pour in the sunflower oil and add the wheat flour. Having mixed all the components, you should get a thick, but very soft dough. It is recommended to wrap it in cling film and set aside while preparing the minced meat.
Preparing the filling
The recipe for quick pies can include any filling. We decided to make a dish with green onions and eggs. After all, this filling is prepared as quickly and easily as the kefir base. To create it, you need to boil chicken eggs, and then grate them on a coarse grater. After this, chop the green onion, add it to the previously grated ingredient together with salt and flavor with melted butter.
Dish formation
After some time, you need to remove the kefir base from the cling film, and then pinch off a piece of it and roll it into a small circle with a diameter of up to 8 centimeters and a thickness of up to 9 millimeters. After that, in the center of the reservoir, it is necessary to place the egg-onion filling in the amount of 1 full large spoon. Next, the edges of the dough should be plucked, forming a beautiful and neat pie. By analogy, all other semi-finished products are also manufactured.
Heat treatment
A quick kefir pie should be fried on hot dishes with the addition of odorless sunflower oil. At one time, it is recommended to lay out 5 to 7 semi-finished products in a standard-sized stewpan. Such products should be fried on each side for no more than 6 minutes. This time is enough for the kefir dough to be completely baked.
How to serve for dinner
After roasting, you need to arrange a quick kefir pie on a plate and present it to guests in hot condition along with sweet tea or some other drink. Also, to such a hearty and very tasty dish, it is recommended to additionally serve hot tomato paste, ketchup or sauce.
