For the winter, almost all the housewives make raspberry jam in the garden of which this berry grows. It is worth noting that it has a fairly large number of nutrients and vitamins. Unfortunately, during cooking, some of these elements lose their properties. However, raspberries can make different jams, including without heat treatment.
Method number 1 - how to cook raspberry jam
Essential Ingredients:
- freshly picked raspberries - 5 kg;
- granulated sugar - 6 kg.

Before making raspberry jam for the winter, you need to collect the necessary amount of this healthy berry. At the same time, it is worth paying special attention to its maturity, since solid copies will make dessert more acidic. After raspberries are collected in the amount of 5 kilograms, it must be immediately sorted out. If this is not done within a few hours, then it will begin to dispense juice and it will be much more difficult to clean it.
Raspberry jam for the winter is recommended to be made only from fresh berries, since the stale product, which is more than two days old, is already starting to acidify.
After the raspberries are completely cleaned of debris and midges, they need to be laid out in a large enameled basin. In no case should you wash such a berry for dessert, because it will completely lose its juice, which will make the jam tasteless. Next, raspberries need to pour 6 kilograms of granulated sugar, mix both products thoroughly and leave aside for 30-120 minutes. During this time, the berry will give its juice, and it will be much easier to cook on the stove.
Raspberry jam for the winter requires a not very long heat treatment. To do this, you just need to wait for the boiling of sweet ingredients, and then boil them for 5-10 minutes. In this case, products often need to be mixed with a large spoon. If this is not done, then most likely the jam will simply burn. After the set time, it is recommended that the dessert be carefully poured into sterilized jars, which should then be rolled up, turned over and placed exactly one day under a dense cloth. This jam can be stored in a cool place (basement, cellar) for up to one year.
Method number 2 - how to make raspberry jam without cooking

- granulated sugar - 5 kg.
Cooking process
To make such a vitamin dessert, you need to collect 5 kilograms of ripe red raspberries, clean it of debris and stalks, and then put it together with granulated sugar in a large basin. After this, it is recommended to wait a few minutes until the berries begin to give their juice. Next, you need to take a stupa and knead raspberries in it. To grind the berries, you can use a blender.
When granulated sugar melts completely and the berries form a homogeneous mixture, they must be immediately distributed in small jars. It is advisable to fill the jam with a couple more spoons of sugar on top, but so that it remains in the form of a white cap. Then containers with dessert should be closed with glass or plastic caps. It is recommended to store such jam no more than 3-5 months exclusively in the refrigerator.
