For this simple culinary delight you will need very affordable components:
- turkey breast (fillet only) - 0.7 kg;
- tomato - 1 pc.;
- celery root - 0.50 g;
- peeled carrots - 0.300 kg;
- onion, garlic - 3 cloves;
- spices: marjoram, sugar, salt, ground black pepper.
How to cook a turkey with vegetables
- Rinse, dry and cut the meat into small cubes of equal size.
- Heat water, put turkey cubes in it, bring to a boil. Reduce the fire and hold for another quarter hour on low heat.
- Preparation of vegetables. Rinse carrots and celery, peel, dry and grate on a medium grater. Chop the onion, combine with other vegetables. Throw raw ingredients into a pan with a turkey, mix thoroughly, close the lid and simmer the same amount. In order to get a richer flavor of meat, shortly before cooking, place the pan in the oven. The turkey with vegetables in the oven should stay for 10-15 minutes. The dish will receive juiciness and tenderness.
- There is a tomato left , it needs to be washed, peeled and cut into small cubes. Slices of garlic also finely chop and mix with tomato slices. Send the ingredients to the turkey saucepan with carrots and celery, pour sugar, salt, dried marjoram, season with pepper. Now stir everything, cover again and simmer for 5 minutes until cooked. Stewed turkey with vegetables can be served with rice, mashed potatoes or as an independent dish. Fresh greens will emphasize the taste of meat and will contribute to its better digestibility.

Turkey recipes with vegetables: chakhokhbili
Georgiaโs classic dish has been slightly modified: chicken meat will be replaced with turkey. It will turn out no worse and no better, but simply in a different, but just as tasty way. For this colorful dish you will need the following ingredients:
- part of the turkey - drumstick with meat and bone - 1 kg;
- tomatoes - 0.5 kg;
- onions - 0.5 kg;
- garlic - 4 large wedges;
- spices: salt, coriander, saffron (just a little bit), suneli hops, classic satsebeli or tkemali sauce (10 g);
- fresh herbs: dill, cilantro, basil.
How is chakhokhbili prepared
For work, you will need dishes with thick walls - a cauldron, pan or pan. Remove the meat from the bone and cut into large pieces. Put the dishes on the fire, heat and put the turkey in it. Do not put fats and oil. Fry, then cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
