The name of this Ukrainian actress became known to the vast majority of viewers after the movie “Necklace for the Snow Woman” was released on the big screen, where she played the role of the unfortunate bride Nastya, and the series “Tomorrow Will Be Tomorrow”, in which she played the envious girlfriend of the main character Olya. After these works, Catherine Kisten became very popular in cinema.
The childhood of the little heroine
Little Katya became for her parents the best gift for the new year, having been born on December 29, 1979. It happened in the capital of Ukraine - the glorious city of Kiev.
She was not like many girls, literally from the cradle dreaming of getting "on TV". Catherine Kisten from early childhood (from four years old) was engaged exclusively in dances - folk and historical-everyday. She even went on tour in Europe, which she later enthusiastically told her friends about. These were the cities of Poland and Italy. She did not forget her native land: Katyusha had a chance to perform at an anniversary concert, which was dedicated to the eightieth anniversary of the legendary Artek camp. In parallel with dancing, the girl learned to play the piano, she even graduated from music school.

Several years (from 1996 to 1999) Catherine Kisten studied at the regional school of culture of his native city. She chose the faculty of directing theatrical events and mass shows. And since she always does everything so that she herself would not be ashamed of it, at the end of the school she received a red diploma. The hardworking girl did not calm down on this. She takes an attack at Karpenko-Kary University of Kyiv and brilliantly graduates from it in 2003.
After this personal victory of hers, she begins a long affair with a theatrical scene. Kisten works at the New Drama Theater in Pechersk, the Kiev Academic Young Theater, the House of Officers ... And everywhere she has very interesting and unlike one and the other roles: Mermaid in GOGOL SEARCH, Anna in Stolen Happiness, Kovardina Evil in Princess Swan ”, Smeraldina in“ Harlequin - the servant of two masters ”, Sabina in“ Push up “Under pressure”, Madame Zmeyukina in “Everyone has their own oddities”, Spaniard Petrovna in “The Law of Tango”, Oluen Piil in “Dangerous Turn” ... Once Catherine Kisten she even swung herself to play three roles at once in one performance: in “5 Pelevin's Tales” she happened to play the transvestite prostitute Nelly, the wolf Lena from Tambov, and even Nadezhda Konstantinovna Krupskaya herself .
The road to the set
Having many different talents (the actress was engaged in classical choreography, pop vocals, movie sounding, Argentinean tango), Ekaterina Kisten, films with whose participation it is always interesting to watch, did not forget about cinema. The roles of her heroines are always extraordinary and very interesting characters, which Katerina delivers is simply amazing. She starred in both Russian and Ukrainian directors.
Since 2002, in the collection of her works there are already about three dozen different characters: Xenia in The Iron Hundred, Lyudmila in The Grandfather of My Dreams, Anna in Faith, Hope, Love, Valery Kapralova in the third part of the story about the Hatsapetov milkmaid , Olga in The General's Daughter. These are the diverse heroines embodied on the screen by Catherine Kisten. Films with her participation are always awarded the best reviews from the audience. The last picture, released in 2014, was the series "Ambulance", where Catherine's character was Sister Serbin.
