In this case, the maximum dosage of the drug is from 300 to 400 milligrams per knock for two months. After normalizing the iron content, a dosage reduction occurs up to 60 milligrams per day. Children are allowed to take 3 milligrams per kilogram of weight per day. The tool "Hemofer Prolongatum" for the prevention of anemia for adults is prescribed 325 milligrams once a day. Side effects

Metabolic acidosis is also possible along with convulsions, fever, leukocytosis, coma for twelve hours, acute renal and hepatic necrosis in two days.
Treatment in this case is symptomatic. To do this, the stomach is washed and a raw egg is used with milk inside to bind iron ions in the digestive system. Against the background of severe poisoning, "Deferoxamine" is administered intravenously and slowly. In this case, small patients are required to administer 15 milligrams of the drug per hour.
In the case of mild poisoning intramuscularly, children are administered 1 gram every six hours, and adults - up to 4 grams. It should be noted that hemodialysis in this case is ineffective, but can be used to accelerate the withdrawal of Fe-deferoxamine complexes, and can also be prescribed for anuria.
