Jadwiga Poplavskaya, whose biography is presented in this article, was born in 1949 in Belarus. She was one of the founders and participants of the famous “Verasy” ensemble in Soviet times. She was awarded the title of People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus.
Biography
Jadwiga Poplavskaya was born in the family of the famous musician in Belarus. Her father was a choirmaster. He is one of the founders of the State Folk Choir of the Republic. In the family, Jadwiga was the middle daughter. In total, her parents had three children. Her father dreamed of a family ensemble. Elder sister Christina was supposed to play the piano. Jadwig was predicted as a violinist. And the younger brother Cheslav, according to his father, was to become a cellist. Playing the violin of Jadwig Poplavskaya studied for only a year. She was a diligent and conscientious student, but this musical instrument was hard for her. Then the father decided to put the girl at the piano. Jadwiga learned to play this instrument successfully. After graduation, she graduated from the Belarusian Conservatory in two departments - piano and composition. By the way, brother Jadwigi Cheslav was a member of the famous ensemble "Songs".
Creative way
Jadwiga Poplavskaya became famous thanks to the popular in the USSR VIA "Veras", which began its existence in 1971. She was one of its founders, as well as a vocalist, played keyboards and arranged songs. Alexander Tihanovich joined the ensemble in 1973. He was a vocalist, bass player and played the trumpet. The musician soon became the husband of Jadwiga. In 1986, Y. Poplavskaya and her husband were forced to leave the Veras ensemble. A year later, they became soloists of the State Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, which is still led by Mikhail Finberg.
Since 1988, Jadwiga Poplavskaya and A. Tikhonovich began to work as a duet. In the same year they organized their own song theater. Many young Belarusian performers who are now known worked and got a ticket to life. Spouses began to tour around the world, took part in festivals. Among other things, Yadviga Konstantinovna voiced the cartoon "Alice's Birthday". In 2005 she received the title of People's Artist of Belarus.
A family
For many years he is the wife of Alexander Tikhanovich Jadwig Poplavskaya. The personal life of the artist is not a secret for anyone. Her husband is an artist, together they have been working in a duet for many years. They have a daughter who was born in 1980. Her name is Anastasia Tihanovich. She, like her parents and singer, very often performs with them at concerts. Recently, Yadviga Konstantinovna became a grandmother, her grandson Ivan was born.
Alexander Tihanovich
As already mentioned above, Jadwiga Poplavskaya is the wife of the Belarusian artist Alexander Tikhanovich. He was born in 1952 in Belarus. The future singer studied at the Suvorov Military School. He liked all subjects except mathematics. There was a brass band in the school, and Alexander noticed that the guys who played in it were often let out of other lessons at rehearsals. This fact greatly pleased the young A. Tikhanovich. He began to study in the orchestra in order to legally skip classes. His instrument was a tuba. As a result, the boy was very interested in music. He literally did not part with his instrument.
After graduating from the Suvorov School, Alexander graduated from the Belarusian Conservatory, the wind department. In 1973 he came to work in the ensemble “Verasy”. Alexander Tihanovich starred in several films in small roles. These are films: “Rhymes with love”, “Proverbs”, “Sky with polka dots”, “She could not do otherwise”, “The third is not superfluous”. And also played a major role in the film "Apple of the Moon."
