Robert Roccic: date and place of birth, family and children, love story, work in the theater, photo

Without exaggeration, this remarkable man, who was a foreigner by birth, who left the prosperous Austrian Vienna for his beloved woman and came to live in Russia, turned out to be so Russian in spirit that it fit into many of our compatriots.

Origin

The biography of Robert Roscik originates in the kingdom of Yugoslavia, from where his father Roland, a Croat by birth, was born.

The Roland family had aristocratic roots dating back several centuries. A descendant of the well-known family name Roscik, having received the best education in Belgrade, moved to neighboring Austria, where he eventually became a professor at one of the oldest educational institutions in Europe - the University of Vienna, in which he taught Italian.

There, in Vienna, during one of the walks in the university’s botanical garden, which was then actively recovering from the Great Patriotic War, the restrained and aristocratic Roland met Susanne, an original Austrian from a simple family.

Having married, the young married couple left for the United States of America, to a country at that time at an unprecedented economic boom and in need of qualified specialists and scientists.

There, in America, their son Robert Rosciq was born, whose date of birth is November 22, 1965.

Childhood

After some time, the family returned to Austria. Father again began his teaching work at the University of Vienna, and his mother raised Robert.

Roland Roccic was a very musical person. His main passion was opera and collection of records, among which his pride was a special account - a complete collection of musical works by the great Russian opera singer F.I. Chaliapin.

In their house it was very often possible to hear the music of various composers and opera performers, thanks to which Robert Roscik developed an excellent aesthetic taste and a delicate ear for music from an early age.

When the boy was twelve years old, Roland once turned on his son one of the records with Chaliapin. The boy was simply shocked by the power of the voice of the famous Russian singer. However, he did not understand the words at all, about which he told his father. Yugoslav Roland, himself fluent in the language of the fraternal people, grinned and said: "And you learn the Russian language!" Thus, in the biography of Robert Roscik, the year of birth of the third native language was 1977, because it was during that period that he sat down in Russian textbooks to find out what the great Chaliapin sang about.

First acquaintance with the opera house

After some time, Robert first crossed the threshold of the opera house. All that he had heard before at home on his father’s records instantly disappeared into his new enthusiastic sensations when the boy hit the walls of the Vienna State Opera. The first stage work in Robert's life was the opera The Force of Fate, by the famous composer Giuseppe Verdi, in which such stars of the opera scene as Placido Domingo, Nikolai Gyaurov and Leontin Price sang.

The impression of the power of what he saw and heard was so great that Robert Roscits simply could not fall asleep the night after the performance, and the very next morning he rushed back to the theater to buy tickets for new performances.

Since then, Roland and Suzanne have always known where to find their child if he did not arrive on time home after school. Together with his peers, who were also fans of opera, Robert sometimes even slept at the walls of the opera in order to take first place at the box office early in the morning and buy the cheapest tickets at the gallery of the opera hall.

By the time he graduated from school, Robert Roscik became a real expert in opera art, mastering perfectly the knowledge of performers, theater staff, musicians and the repertoire of all opera houses.

Youth

After leaving school, the young man entered the Slavic Studies Department of the University of Vienna, continuing the study of the Russian language that he had begun as a child, as well as the literature, history and spiritual culture of the Slavic peoples. At the same time, Robert was still an amazing person, living the opera and everything connected with it.

In 1983, when he was eighteen years old, he unexpectedly bought a completely ridiculous car for fashionable Vienna - the yellow Zaporozhets produced in the Soviet Union. It was the cheapest and only car that Roscik Jr. could afford. But now, after completing classes at the university, he could go to night work in neighboring Italy, to the glorious ancient city of Verona, on the main square of which the world-famous concert venue Arena di Verona was located. There he combined business with pleasure, moonlighting as a night porter, and at the same time listening to all the stars of the opera and classical scene, for whom the Verona concert venue was a favorite and honorable venue for performances.

At that time, the peak of Robert Roscik’s career and his real personal achievement was participation in the mimance, a mimic ensemble of artists participating in mass scenes of opera and ballet performances. It was real happiness. He stood on the same stage with the great opera singers and saw the enthusiastic eyes of the public.

Moscow

In 1986, becoming a graduate of the University of Vienna, Roczik Jr. went on an internship to MV Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Moscow of the 80s

Moscow was like Robert's favorite opera. He was also struck by her power, magnificence and the audible sound of the great city alone. In whatever part of the capital of the Soviet Union he finds himself, it always seemed to him that he was already there. Having left home, he constantly returned with thoughts to Russia. There was something in this country that attracted him so much.

Maybe it was an awareness of their fate. Or maybe the touch of the wings of cupid. One way or another, after three years, Robert Rotsik returned to Moscow, met his love in her and stayed forever.

Beloved woman impresario Roscica

It so happened that the future husband of Kazarnovskaya, Robert Roscits, and his biography, as well as the life path of his chosen one, were inextricably linked with opera.

In 1989, Robert, already an impresario, again came to Moscow in search of worthy performers for the Vienna Opera. Among the twelve artists he selected was Lyubov Kazarnovskaya, the prima of the Leningrad Academic Opera and Ballet Theater named after S. M. Kirov, which was subsequently reorganized into the State Academic Mariinsky Theater. Of course, Love was one of the most talented representatives of the group recruited by Roscik. However, the interest in this singer, shown by a young impresario, who at that time was only twenty-four years old, quickly grew from a business into a personal one.

Very soon they became pretty to each other. In addition, Lyubov Kazarnovskaya and Robert Roscik had absolutely similar musical preferences and a look at the profession. Love was the opera itself, and Robert was her devoted and admired admirer. Perfectly fluent in Russian, the impresario recited to the singer Pushkin by heart and gave flowers.

Love was eight years older than Robert and had already taken place as an opera actress, however, she could not resist the charm of her new boyfriend. A romance flares up between them, which soon grew into a marriage proposal.

We sat in a small cozy restaurant, of which there are many, he looked into my eyes, simply and openly, and asked a question. Then he admitted that he was very nervous and even afraid of refusal, thought to himself: “Here is an idiot, and suddenly she will say no, what will I do? ..” I just as simply and openly answered “Yes”. He beamed ...

A family

In those years, marrying a foreigner was legally quite difficult, and sometimes completely impossible. The first three attempts to formalize relations in Russia suffered a bureaucratic fiasco. As a result, Robert Roscik became the husband of Kazarnovskaya only in the capital of Austria.

This happened on April 21, 1989. Almost thirty years have passed since then, but their marriage is still as strong and romantic as in the beginning.

Immediately after the wedding, Robert left the profession, becoming the organizer of concerts and the assistant to only one single person - his own wife. Soon, Roczik finally left Austria and moved to live in Russia.

The miraculous development of the relationship of the young family implied a continuation in the form of children, and after four years of married life their dream came true - they had a son.

Andrew

Their son bears his father's last name. In the biography of Robert Roscik, Andrei’s birth year was captured by long walks with a stroller through the night San Francisco, where local homeless people greeted him joyfully every morning when he only returned home after a walk that lasted all night. His wife had just signed another contract, and she needed to get enough sleep to rehearse and speak to the public. And Robert, showing his father’s real heroism, completely took care of the newborn child.

Andrei was born on June 21, 1993, on the summer solstice. Vienna was his birthplace.

Now the young man is already twenty-five years old. He, like his parents, connected his life with music and became a violinist, and in the future he dreams of becoming a symphony conductor.
