Once the future classic of horror films Romero laid the foundation for thrillers in which the revived dead act, who enjoy eating ordinary citizens with pleasure.
Zombie films got bored over time, and then a curious subgenre was born - comedies about zombies. A step to it was already all the parts of the "Resuscitator" with the eccentric-infernal
Jeffrey Combs. Yes, and a little earlier shot by Sam Raimi “The Evil Dead” did not really scare, but rather looked funny. However, to the fullest the subject was ridiculed by the British, known for their unique humor. A “Zombie named Sean” with a wonderful pair of bosom buddies Sean and Ed (played by the inimitable Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) was a breakthrough in the “Zombie Comedy” category. Two average Englishmen do not notice how, like sand through their fingers, their aimless existence passes day after day over a glass of beer in a nearby pub. But they were made to shake by a strange, unexpected and very terrible epidemic, which almost became fatal for many people.
Idyllic 50s
A slightly different picture, almost idyllic, was painted by the creators of the black comedy about the zombies Fido (another name is Zombies named Fido). As if exemplary families descended from the pages of classic American magazines, they flourished in the 1950s in one of the lovely provincial towns. Such is the family of little Timmy Robinson. Strange idylls penetrated by the sun are slightly violated by strange minions. They are zombies! Once there was an outbreak of an incomprehensible plague that turned people into evil brainless monsters. But now everything is behind. One powerful corporation took the liberty of curbing zombies with the help of special devices - collars. Now these humble creatures can guard your home, like dogs, can mow grass or tidy up. So Timmy's mom, a respectable housewife Helen, believed the ads and bought herself such a servant. The incident caused the boy to get close to the monster and even make friends with him. Movies about zombie comedies can sometimes make you scared, but soon you will realize that there was nothing to fear. That's why they are comedies!

Notes of sadness and lyrics
The director Ruben Fleisher managed to make a kind of road movie, sometimes lyrical, sometimes instructive, from a zombie comedy. "Welcome to Zombieland" was a pleasant surprise in 2009. Woody Harrelson “veteran” of American cinema flashed in the picture. Young Abigail Breslin, young Jesse Eisenberg and Emma Stone did not yield to him in skill . Rocked by antiquity, the lovely, as always, Bill Murray, who played himself. It is a pity that the authors so strangely disposed of this cameo role. But what comedy without a hint of sadness? Last year, Fleischer presented to the audience a curious film of a completely different genre - “Gangster Hunters”. There are rumors about the sequel "Welcome", but who will be filming there and who will be involved in the production is still unknown. Fans of the genre also loved the comedy about zombies in 2013, “The Warmth of Our Bodies”. In it, the creators tried to take the place of the bloodthirsty creatures themselves (perhaps for the first time). It turned out that by eating human brains, zombies are able to learn some of the memories of their “lunch”. Thanks to this, the main character of the film was able to win the heart of young blonde Julie.
