Injections are used to eliminate renal and biliary colic, postoperative and post-traumatic syndromes occurring with inflammation and edema, as well as for the treatment of gynecological pathologies accompanied by pain and inflammation (adnexitis, primary algomenorrhea). The drug "Voltaren" is used intramuscularly to eliminate severe migraine attacks. The introduction of the solution is most preferred in the initial stages of exacerbations of degenerative and inflammatory diseases.

The drug is injected into the gluteal muscle by deep injection. It is not recommended to perform the procedure more than two days in a row. If necessary, further treatment is continued with preparations in the form of rectal suppositories and tablets.

A single daily dosage is 75 milligrams - this is the contents of one ampoule. In extremely severe cases, 2 injections are carried out with an interval of two to three hours in different buttocks. As an alternative, it is recommended to combine injections with other forms of the drug (tablets). However, it should be remembered that the daily dosage should not be higher than 150 mg.

Injections are not recommended for pregnant and lactating mothers, as well as patients under the age of 18 years.
