This satirical comedy, which was released after the 1980 women's holiday, and which was watched by more than twenty-eight million viewers in the very first rental year, is still loved and watched, despite the fact that it seems slightly unfashionable. After all, the problem raised in it could concern everyone at that time, and maybe even today. This is stated in the film "Garage". The actors and the roles that they played in this tape were remembered so much that 36 after the premiere, the audience remembers each replica of the characters, and the film itself was instantly sorted into quotes.
Heavy evening
As a rule, the meeting of the members of the Garage-building society "Fauna", which consisted of employees of the Research Institute for the Protection of Animals from the Environment, was held the same way. Until one not very beautiful day. Once again, the chairman of the board, Sidorin (Valentin Gaft) , together with the deputy director of the research institute Anikeeva (Iya Savina), told their colleagues about the progress of the work and that some costs were ahead. After that, the secretary of the board reported on what work had already been done, several more questions were put to the vote.

Elena suggests that each of them should be discussed by name and only then decide who is worthy to stay on the list and who is not.

He was shocked by how, after talking about reducing the number of garages, the behavior of artists, whose reputation was never questioned, changed.
In order not to be deprived, the shareholders, whose names the whole country knows, did not hesitate, descended at this meeting to meanness, betrayal and insults. Ryazanov suffered because he, fueled by a general mood, did not intercede for those who lost their garages. Therefore, his work is an attempt to apologize for his behavior then.
The situation that happened to him at that meeting, in the picture, he showed on the example of Professor Smirnovsky, played by Leonid Markov. This character also saw the injustice of everything that was happening, but did nothing.
