How to cook chicken with zucchini in the oven

For the dish you will need:

  • 1 zucchini (500-700 gr);
  • 6 skinless chicken breasts;
  • a pair of ripe tomatoes;
  • 200 gr. cheese (hard);
  • some garlic.

Rinse the chicken breasts thoroughly and put on a baking sheet, which must either be greased with vegetable oil or covered with foil. Put them in a hot oven (180 degrees) for 20 minutes. At the same time, you can prepare the vegetables: rinse the zucchini, peel and seed, salt. Squeeze the garlic or chop finely, cut the tomatoes into circles. Now remove the chicken from the oven, put the zucchini on top and put it to bake for 15 minutes. After the specified time, remove the pan again, sprinkle your dish with a mixture of garlic and cheese, and put the tomatoes on top. The chicken with zucchini in the oven is almost ready: to form a beautiful, golden crust, put the mold in the oven for 10 minutes. You can also prepare a delicious stew from the ingredients familiar to everyone, of course, we usually do not serve it at the festive table, but it will be just right for lunch. Take:

  • 1 small zucchini (500-600 gr.);
  • 2 chicken breasts;
  • 2 sweet peppers and ripe tomatoes;
  • onion and 1 carrot;
  • 150 gr. fat sour cream (or nonfat - focus on your own taste), spices and salt.

Wash the zucchini, if the vegetable is young, you do not need to cut the peel. Cut it into cubes or stripes. Pepper and onion also need to be chopped in half rings, and grate the carrots on a coarse grater. First, fry vegetables in a separate frying pan in oil: zucchini, then add onions, peppers and carrots, and lastly, slices of tomatoes. Put chicken slices on another pan, lightly brown until half-cooked, and then combine the two sautés in one deep bowl, which must be covered with a lid and put on a slow fire. Braised zucchini with chicken will be ready in 15-20 minutes, after which you need to pour sour cream, salt and pepper, slightly reduce the heat and let it go for 10 minutes. After that, the stew is ready - to decorate it, you can sprinkle with any chopped greens and serve.
