To film the most popular comics began from the end of the last century. But, of course, then they were not even aware of the special effects that are used in modern film production. And without them, making comics was a futile task.
Who are the Avengers?
Everything has changed in the new millennium. New technologies made it possible to realize the craziest pictures from the pages of the Marvel comic books on the screen. Acquaintance with the heroes occurred long before the movie "Avengers". The characters fought the villains in their films: Tony Stark revealed in all its glory in both parts of Iron Man (2008 and 2010), the Hulk also managed to appear on the screen twice in 2003 and 2008, and in 2011 they released “Thor ”And“ The First Avenger ”are the following Marvelian chronological paintings in which viewers met Captain America and the Asgardian God Thor.
Underrated heroes
And although Marvel’s film universe has a lot of differences with comics, the general essence and idea are conveyed in the films correctly. The Avengers united the entire team of superheroes, because the Earth was in danger, such that none of them could cope alone. This was facilitated by one of the important figures of the movie "Avengers", whose characters are mostly superheroes with supernatural abilities. Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) created the SHIELD (anti-crime organization) at the end of World War II, but due to some problems he had to freeze his project until better times. The comics describe in more detail and detail the history of the organization and its members, which, of course, is not enough screen time. Nick Fury has appeared in all films except The Hulk. Thus, the audience was already familiar with him before the Avengers. The plot of the film introduces us to the two existing agents of the SHIELD, which, unfortunately, have not yet received their individual films and appeared a little in only two previous films of the Marvel cinema universe. These are Hawkeye and Black Widow - they play not the last role in the film "Avengers". The characters from the film were very harmoniously played by Jeremy Renner and Scarlett Johansson. Unforgivably little screen time was given to their stories, because these are really interesting and ambiguous characters, although they do not have superpowers. Clint Barton: very little is told about him in the film. This is a closed killer, incredibly accurate and dexterous, with an amazing reaction, for which he received his nickname - Hawkeye. At least, such information can be obtained from the comics. He is a colleague of Fury, helped Nick with the organization of the SHIELD, paired with Black Widow, participated in special operations. Because of her betrayal, he lost his wife and children. A brief introduction to Hawkeye before The Avengers was in the movie Thor. Black Widow - Russian spy Natasha (Romanova) Romanoff, has a dark past, but wants to serve for peace. He has an amazing memory, speaks several languages and owns martial arts. Another not supernatural, but incredibly valuable employee of the organization, an important part of the team.
Superheroes with superpowers
Talking about these heroes in detail is pretty pointless. They became famous among moviegoers even before the release of the movie Avengers. The characters Hulk, Iron Man, Thor and Captain America have truly huge armies of fans. Closest to the comics, the screen version of the adventures of the huge green guy was The Incredible Hulk of 2008, with Edward Norton in the title role. However, in "Avengers" the hero of Bruce Banner (the main incarnation of the Hulk) is played by Mark Ruffalo. Huge size, incredible strength, the ability to withstand any temperature and withstand unimaginable blows - that's why Fury invites Bruce Banner to the SHIELD. The inimitable Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) - a genius, a billionaire, a philanthropist in an ultra-sophisticated costume - an amazingly noble hero, a generator of sparkling humor and irony in the team, her irreplaceable Iron Man. But Thor (Chris Hamsworth) is the most incredible and mythical hero of the team, he is a demigod from Asgard. Unusually, the character’s weapon from Avengers is a special hammer made of a star, capable of controlling thunder and lightning. Well, Captain America (Chris Evans) is a national symbol and hero, who received his abilities as a result of a military experiment, and, in connection with a long coma, is slightly behind the modern world.
Universal evil
It is not surprising that the team of incredible superheroes is opposed by evil of a truly planetary scale in the film Avengers. The characters in the first part fight with Thor's stepbrother - the evil god of lies named Loki (who was brilliantly played by Tom Hiddleston). He came to Earth to conquer the human race. For Thor, a battle with his brother and his main adversary is not just a mission to save the world, but a real challenge. In the second part, the Avengers confronts Ultron - a robot that was created to protect humanity, but its program crashed. The new characters in Avengers: Age of Ultron are Pietro and Wanda Maximoff, performed by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen. They are twins, mutants nicknamed Mercury and Scarlet Witch. Initially, they fight on the side of Ultron, but after they learn his real plans, they go over to the side of the Avengers and join their team.
