Konstantin Stupin: biography
The musician was born in June 1972, in the family of a military servant. It happened in the city of Orel, where Konstantin still lives.
At school, he was a real inveterate bully, but, thanks to the booming bass, the guy was selected to the school ensemble, and he became his full-fledged performer. In addition, from this small team, Stupin was able to form the Night Cane group. This name was chosen for a reason. He was influenced by a film watched by a talented musician.
Konstantin Stupin, whose photos reflect the state of his soul, did not get on with his studies all the time, even from a vocational school the young man was expelled due to a constant skipping class. He did not even serve in the Soviet army.
Young talent was noticed and picked up on time. The bustle of sponsors helped the guys from Orel perform in the capital at the festival. And it happened in 1990. But the performance of the regional musical group almost broke. Its participants were completely drunk, but the jury heard the songs that they performed, and gave the children a chance to rehabilitate themselves in their eyes.
Drugs and Prisons
Konstantin Stupin, whose biography did not bode well for him, was still able to restore his spirit and continue his musical career. Even drugs didn’t stop it. But let's talk about everything in order.
After performing in Moscow, the musician decides to feel the effects of hard drugs. It is worth saying that he had previously used marijuana, but it no longer created the pleasant effect as before.
It so happened that law enforcement officers found hidden drugs at Stupin. This was the reason for his first imprisonment.
The second time the guy was imprisoned due to theft of vehicles. In total, the musician spent in prison for nine whole years, which could not but affect his work.
Between rest on a bunk, Konstantin made attempts to revive the former collective and actively participated in local festivals. At those moments when the participants of the “Night Cane” stepped on the stage, everyone froze and quickly filled the space in front of the stage, leaving all their affairs behind. But this work did not bring any income at all, and apart from music, the talented poet did not know how to do anything, therefore he very often went to robberies.
The last imprisonment for the frontman of the “Night Cane” ended in 2013, after which he was no longer able to revive his native team and began his solo career.
The informal "highlight" of the performer
Many performances of Konstantin Stupin together with the group received audience awards, but these were not enchanting shows and not high classics. These were actions that would be considered out of the ordinary in a cultural society. But just such was the informal highlight of the artist's work. And the fans of the group took it as a tribute, they simply were delighted, despite all the indecent and unthinkable actions of the musician on stage.
Some compositions of Stupin, despite their prescription, sound very good even now. The end of the group's activity upset many of his fans, but they say that the man is not going to forget about creativity forever.
The frontman of the Night Cane group stopped performing on the stage of Orel’s hometown, but he continues to express his creativity and ardor in poetry, performing them in front of a grateful audience. The musician does not forget about old hits, likes to play them to the accompaniment of a guitar, if such an instrument is nearby.
