Few people know that the birthplace of cucumber is India. In general, in the East, this vegetable was known before our era. With us it appeared only in the ninth century and immediately gained great popularity. Now this juicy fruit has become a familiar product. At first glance, this nondescript green product may seem completely useless. Everyone knows that cucumber is 95 percent water. Cucumber, in principle, is considered a dietary product. It is good to use on fasting days to control overweight. But sometimes you want something unusual.

In oriental cuisine, fried cucumbers have long been used to prepare appetizers and salads. At first glance, it looks, at least, unusual. But cooking is the science of experimenters who want to try everything. Fried tomatoes and eggplant! So what's worse cucumbers? There is a fairly
simple recipe for snacks, the main component of which is precisely
fried cucumbers.
To prepare it, you will need a small set of products: fresh cucumbers, salt, wheat flour (for breading), vegetable oil (for frying).
For dressing you will need: sour cream and garlic.
The cooking process is extremely simple:
- Cucumbers need to be cut into circles (small vegetables are best cut along).
- Pour the chopped vegetables into a bowl, lightly salt and leave for 10 minutes, so that the product is slightly saturated.
- Roll pieces of cucumbers in flour, and then fry in vegetable oil until golden brown.
- To prepare dressing, grind the garlic using a press and mix with sour cream.
- Put the fried cucumbers on a plate, cover with cooked dressing on top.
It turns out very tasty. Fried cucumbers prepared in this way can be served immediately or allowed to cool.
To create unusual snacks, you can use both fresh and salted vegetables. Sometimes the hostess opens a can of pickles, but they canβt eat them right away. Such a product cannot stand for long, and often you have to throw away spoiled vegetables. But there is a great way to use the remaining products! From them you can make a great mix for sandwiches.
To do this, you need to take: a couple of eggs, 6 cucumbers (you can take pickled), a glass of milk, rapeseed oil, wheat and corn flour
It is quick and easy to prepare:
- Cut the cucumbers into rings.
- Beat the eggs.
- Pour oil into a pan and put on fire.
- Arrange all products in separate plates.
- As soon as the oil boils, take a slice of cucumber and dip it alternately in each plate in the following sequence: milk - wheat flour - eggs - corn flour. Fry for 2 minutes on each side.
Put the prepared pieces on a clean napkin to remove excess fat. Fried pickles prepared in this way have an unforgettable taste, and the dish turns out to be quite high-calorie.
Cucumbers have a delicate aroma and are able to complement any dish. Even the photo of the cucumber is already causing appetite! Vegetables can simply be sliced ββthinly and laid on a plate next to sliced
meat. Fresh greens of a juicy vegetable with droplets of moisture on the surface favorably emphasize the pink color of the meat product. It seems that the aroma is felt even at a distance. There are experts who can make a simple
cucumber salad a real decoration of the festive table. To do this, just cut the cucumber into thin longitudinal strips, roll them up and lay them in a fancy way on a plate. On top of the design, you can decorate with greens to your taste. You can just watch and enjoy these salads!
