Ninjago is a strange island city where elements of Chinese and Japanese pop cultures come together to create an environment populated by Lego characters.
The civilization of these little men from the designer faces a constant threat from Lord Garmadon, the villain who lives in the volcano and periodically attacks Ninjago City, wreaking havoc and chaos. The fighting scenes here are so epic, detailed and thought out that from all this riot of colors a little ripples in the eyes.
The aforementioned Lloyd, speaking in Russian box office in the voice of Timur Rodriguez, is the son of Garmadon, with whom he was separated at an early age. It is clear that thanks to such a kinship, special love and respect, the inhabitants of Ninjago do not have Lloyd, but rather the opposite. The only people who will have anything to do with him are five friends who secretly form a team of superheroes with him.
They are warriors fighting Garmadon, being inside the giant robots and controlling them. Time after time they repel the attacks of the villain and his armies on Ninjago. The spiritual leader of this five ninjas is Master Wu (Mikhail Galustyan), who, in addition to conventional weapons, has a Super Weapon.
However, the last attack of Garmadon defenders of the city can not be repelled. Lloyd, wanting to protect Ninjago at all costs, driven by a sense of revenge for the fact that his father abandoned him and never inquired about his fate for all these years, decides to steal this mysterious Super Weapon and use it against his dear daddy. The moments of Lloyd’s mental torment, when he, with his Super Arms aimed at Garmadon in his hands, is torn between the need to destroy him and the desire to establish filial relations with him, prompt the viewer to write a review of “The Lego Ninjago Movie” how about a picture with a dramatic storyline.

Lloyd, using Super Weapons and randomly moving the beam, involuntarily does more harm to the Ninjago than his father ever did. As a result, the Ninjago is destroyed, it is hosted by Mauzilla, which can only be driven away by Super Duper Weapon. Now the son of Garmadon, his friends and Master Wu must go on a dangerous journey to the other side of the island to find the Super Duper Weapon there. The evil daddy decides to help them for reasons that are likely to be lost for the audience, but make sense for any screenwriter: father and son must, of course, be forced to reconciliation during their torment during a long and difficult campaign.
A motley company, overcoming a series of misadventures, comes to the Temple of Subtle Matter on the other side of the island, which turns out to be the house where Teacher Wu and Garmadon were born and raised, who, as it turned out, are brothers to each other.
They find Superfood Weapons, but what is it? A device that can even crush Myausilla is just a set of five LEGO details - the characters of each ninja. Garmadon kidnaps them and hides. What follows is a thought that runs through a red thread through the whole narrative that external attributes mean nothing, that the power is inside us, know yourself and all that.
Ninjas are aware of their mission and take possession of the power dormant in them, now they do not need any sabers, swords and robots. The most perfect weapon is themselves. The power of the Earth obeys one , the second - the power of Fire, the only girl in their glorious team - the power of Water, the fourth - the power of Lightning, the fifth - the power of Ice.
And Lloyd, to whom Master Wu, when distributing the elements he commands, gave such a strange and inexpressive totem - green (yes, that's right, not Ice, not Fire, not Earth, but green), became an element uniting them all together, the inspirer of the five ninja and its undisputed leader.
The team follows Garmadon to Ninjago, where he has already been swallowed by Mauzilla, as the Super Duper Weapon is just a bunch of trinkets and has no effect on it. Lloyd saves his dad exactly how we will not mention here in order to maintain the intrigue. Relationships are going on between father and son, Lloyd and Garmadon, no matter how far apart they were mentally at first. The true reason is revealed for which the evil lord has abandoned his son and family. The motives of Lloyd’s mother, also a ninja, naturally become clear. She met his father during the battle with him. She broke up under no less tragic and tear circumstances. And returned to him quite in the spirit of plots from soap operas. All this results in an unconditional and solemn family reunion in the end. The inevitable emotional balance between the two Garmadons, Lloyd and his dad, peace and quiet, established in Ninjago - this is the logical ending of this such a multi-genre picture.

At the cost of $ 70 million to create The LEGO Ninjago Movie, box office rental fees for this product totaled more than $ 100 million. Of course, you can’t say for sure that the cartoon shot at the box office. However, it’s hard to call it a failure, it’s rather a peppy middle peasant who brought his creators a good profit.

The critics and the audience as a whole have good reviews about the Lego Ninjago Film. This is an absolutely adequate tape for children who like to watch what they have seen many times (most children, let’s say so). The picture offers many quite adult jokes for their parents.
