Lapina Ekaterina was born on October 8, 1974 in the city of Kalinin (now Tver), the RSFSR. She is a famous Russian actress, who today could have turned forty-four years old. Catherine died tragically, but managed to star in more than thirty films.

Nothing is known about the childhood of the popular actress. However, in many interviews, Lapina often said that she always dreamed of acting in films. In addition, she fantasized about how she autographs fans on the street. When Ekaterina Lapina, whose photo can be seen below, received her secondary education, she decided to go to Yaroslavl to enter the theater institute. Her mentors were Klip and Astashin.
The young girl received higher education in 1999. Catherine did not want to work and stay in this city. Therefore, after a while she went to the capital to try her luck. In Moscow, the girl found her dream job and arranged a personal life. In this city, Lapina met her future husband, director Alexander Basov. The wife of the actress was the son of famous parents - Vladimir Basov and Valentina Titova. Many said that Catherine is a provincial who wants to stay in Moscow with the help of a wealthy family. But the marriage of Lapina and Basov was, surprisingly to everyone, strong and happy.
Creative activity
In the capital, the girl was able to show all her talents. She began to work in the theater on Pokrovka, which was managed by Sergei Artsybashev. But for the actress, this was not enough. She still dreamed of acting in films. In this regard, Catherine often attended auditions. She believed that luck would smile at her sooner or later. The first role, which went to the aspiring actress, was in the series "Petersburg Secrets". The film was released in 1998.
After the first shootings in the series, still unknown to anyone, the actress was noticed. After some time, she was invited to shoot the DMB film. Last roles
It was difficult for Ekaterina to work simultaneously in theater and cinema. She worked almost without rest, giving herself completely to her beloved business. The death of the actress
A tragic incident occurred with Ekaterina Lapina on February 1, 2012. The young woman left the house where she lived with her husband. She hurried to the next shoot. Catherine got into her car and drove towards the city. During the night, ice formed on the roads, which contributed to the tragedy.
The actress lost control: she wanted to overtake the car, but drove into the oncoming lane. After a moment, a garbage truck crashes into Catherine’s car. On the way to Moscow, near the town of Lobnya, a terrible accident occurred. The machine of the actress was so badly wrung that the rescuers could not release Catherine from her for a long time.
In a very critical condition, Lapin was taken to the hospital, where she was urgently operated on. Unfortunately, the actress, without regaining consciousness, died. Ekaterina Lapina was thirty-seven years old. In a joint marriage with Alexander Basov, Catherine did not have children. The immediate family of the actress decided to cremate her. The ashes of Catherine were buried on February 18, 2012 at the Nikolo-Arkhangelsk cemetery in Moscow.
