If you adhere to the existing rules for product compatibility, then a combination of cauliflower and meat is considered extremely undesirable. Nevertheless, their simultaneous use sometimes allows you to cook quite tasty dishes. True, it will be difficult for the human body to perceive them because of the characteristics of the digestion of each individual component. But sometimes there are times when, for the sake of the final result, you have to deviate from generally accepted norms. For example, cauliflower with minced meat is one of these exceptions. In order to verify this, you can consider several interesting options for their preparation.
Pan stewing
Cauliflower with minced meat is very tasty if you just put it out in a pan. This is the easiest way of processing, which allows any housewife to maximize her imagination. The standard option provides the following ratio of products: 200 grams of cauliflower, 1 egg, 100 grams of minced meat, salt, 50 milliliters of milk, fresh herbs and vegetable oil.
Preparing cauliflower with minced meat is easy:
- First you need to lower the head for 3 minutes in boiling, slightly salted water, and then, after cooling it, disassemble it into tiny inflorescences.
- Put the prepared cabbage with minced meat in a pan and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes, adding a little water.
- Once the moisture has evaporated, you need to pour vegetable oil into the pan.
- Separately, beat the egg and milk in a bowl while adding a pinch of salt.
- Pour food into the cooked mass and simmer under the lid for 10 minutes over low heat.
Another hot dish should be sprinkled with chopped herbs. After that, it can be laid out on plates and carried to the table.
Tender cutlets
Cauliflower with minced meat can also be great ingredients for cutlets. This option is good for those who do not really like boiled vegetables. In this case, a completely standard set of components is used: 400 grams of cabbage, a clove of garlic, an egg, 60 grams of flour, 200 grams of minced meat, onion and spices.
The dish is prepared using conventional technology:
- First you need to cut the onion into small pieces, and the greens - randomly chop.
- First, boil the cabbage inflorescences for 15 minutes in salt water, and then mash them into pulp using a meat grinder or blender.
- Collect all the ingredients in a deep bowl, squeeze the garlic through a press and knead the minced meat. Flour is added last.
- Form round billets from the prepared mass and fry them on both sides until a characteristic crust appears.
You can serve mashed potatoes for a side dish with such cutlets. Although they can perfectly act as an independent dish.
Oven baking
Cauliflower with minced meat baked in the oven looks very original. The dish looks elegant and can turn an ordinary dinner into a real holiday. For work you will need: 1 head of medium-sized cabbage, egg, onion, 250 grams of minced meat, salt, vegetable oil and pepper.
This recipe can be classified as a whip. Everything is done very quickly:
- First of all, forcemeat should be transferred to a deep plate and gently knead it with an ordinary fork.
- Chop the onion and lightly spasser in a pan in oil. Then, together with salt and pepper, add it to the minced meat and mix everything thoroughly.
- Blanch the cabbage for 5 minutes in boiling water with the addition of a small amount of salt, and then disassemble it into inflorescences.
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- At the bottom of a heat-resistant mold, coated with oil, place the prepared minced meat.
- Spread cabbage inflorescences from above and pour them with a beaten egg.
- Place the mold in the oven for 30 minutes.
The finished product can be decorated with greens. And cutting it is completely optional. Itβs better to just break your hands.
Stuffed cabbage
Sometimes preparing cabbage for work takes too much time. For those who do not like it, cauliflower with minced meat, baked in the oven, is suitable. This method is interesting not only in the manner of execution, but also in a set of basic ingredients. They will not need so much: 600 grams of minced meat, 1 carrot, 800 grams of cabbage, egg, salt, onion, black pepper, 25 grams of sour cream, 100 grams of cheese, 4 tablespoons of thick mayonnaise and any seasonings.
The cooking process boils down to the following operations:
- First, you need to boil the cabbage to the state of "al dente" in salt water. This will take 6-7 minutes.
- To prepare the filling, the first thing to do is fry the chopped onions and carrots. After cooling, they need to be mixed with minced meat, adding the rest of the ingredients.
- Fill the head with the resulting mixture, gently pushing the inflorescences with your fingers. Treat the surface with a mixture of cheese and mayonnaise.
- Preheat the oven to a minimum of 200 degrees.
- Stuffed head of cabbage in a mold, cover with foil and put in the oven for half an hour.
The finished product can be cut with a knife into even pieces and serve with any vegetables.
