Biography
Valerie Capricci was born on August 19, 1962 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, a French commune west of Paris. Her real name is Valerie Sheres, Kapriski is the maiden name of her Polish mother. On the paternal side, the actress has Turkish and Argentine roots. As a child, at the age of eight, Valerie moved with her parents to live in Cannes. Thanks to the famous festival, inspired by the play of one of the most famous German actresses of the 20th century, Romy Schneider, Kapriski discovered the world of cinema and decided to devote herself to acting career.
Carier start
At seventeen, she moved to Paris and, attending high school, went to the courses of Florent, a private school of dramatic art in the evening. After several shootings of commercials, Valerie was noticed by the famous French film director, screenwriter and film producer Jean-Marie Poiret, who offered her the first serious work.
A year later, she managed to get a leading role in the French-Swiss erotic film of Robert Fuest called "Aphrodite."

The young actress continued the chain of projects and her next job was the role in Andrzej Zhulawski’s drama “Public Woman” about an inexperienced young girl who is offered a leading role in the film adaptation of Dostoevsky’s novel. In the story, an eccentric director (Francis Haster) begins a rigorous course of ideological treatment, sexual domination and acting lessons, leaving the mentally devastated girl unable to distinguish the real world from the game. Participation in this film brings Valerie a nomination for the Cesar Award for Best Actress.
Exhausting at the same time the innocence and eroticism of Capricca becomes a famous and sought after actress, her face appears on the covers of glossy magazines. In 1984, repeatedly appearing topless, she plays a dangerously beautiful, seductive teenage girl in the dramatic thriller Year of the Jellyfish. Then he plays the role of a dazzling gypsy (1986) in the comedy of Philippe de Brock, and in 1991 plays Milena, a woman in love with a mysterious past.

In the late eighties, tired of the role of a sexual actress, Valerie Capriski decides not to be naked anymore. This choice harms her career, and offers of movie roles are becoming smaller. Valerie was considered a fatal woman, while she felt like a teenager. This forced the actress to resort to the help of psychotherapists. Seven years after the start of her treatment, Capriski meets the man of his whole life, composer Jean Yves Dingelo, in whom Valerie falls in love at first sight. However, not one dozen years of a happy life with the one whom she calls a very kind person is marred by only one thing - the inability to have children.
