Valerie Capricci was born on August 19, 1962 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, a French commune west of Paris. Her real name is Valerie Sheres, Kapriski is the maiden name of her Polish mother. On the paternal side, the actress has Turkish and Argentine roots. As a child, at the age of eight, Valerie moved with her parents to live in Cannes. In the story, an eccentric director (Francis Haster) begins a rigorous course of ideological treatment, sexual domination and acting lessons, leaving the mentally devastated girl unable to distinguish the real world from the game. Participation in this film brings Valerie a nomination for the Cesar Award for Best Actress.

Year of the jellyfish

Exhausting at the same time the innocence and eroticism of Capricca becomes a famous and sought after actress, her face appears on the covers of glossy magazines. In 1984, repeatedly appearing topless, she plays a dangerously beautiful, seductive teenage girl in the dramatic thriller Year of the Jellyfish. Then he plays the role of a dazzling gypsy (1986) in the comedy of Philippe de Brock, and in 1991 plays Milena, a woman in love with a mysterious past.
