Our today's hero Oleg Izotov is a guitarist. He was born in 1987 in Moscow. At 13, he began to play the guitar. For 4 years he studied at a rock lyceum called “Red Chemist”. In 2004, he became a student at the State Music College of pop and jazz art.
Debut and Awards
Oleg Izotov three times became the laureate of the All-Russian competition-festival under the name "Many-Faced Guitar". In the nomination "rock" he won the third, second and even first place. The circle of hobbies of our hero since childhood was diverse. It, for example, included drawing and astronomy. The young man became interested in rock music at school age. He was particularly attracted to the work of the groups Nirvana and Metallica. Music in the life of our hero took the main place. Then he set out to connect his future activities with this art form. However, he did not yet know where to start.
The first serious step in this direction can be considered entering a rock lyceum called "Red Chemist". The guitar has become the main life choice of our hero. Now the young man devoted his free time to the game, making music, as well as recording compositions that he produced at home.
Already at the age of 16 they learned about him in the music world. At the contest “Many-Faced Guitar” the young man won first place. Representatives of the jury appreciated the original image and skill of the musician. After the performance of our hero, many professionals, as well as media representatives, noticed.
In 2004, the young man participated in the "School of Rock" contest from MTV. The event was dedicated to the Moscow screening of the film with the same name. The main requirement was that the participant was not older than seventeen years. Our hero turned 17 on the day of selection for the festival. He became the winner and was able to play as part of the premiere of the film. A video narrating about this was shown on MTV. In 2004, the musician in a comic style recorded a tribute to the hits of the group "Aria".
