The central character is law student Charlie, a very talented driver and lucky gambler, who once chooses the wrong opponent in a poker game. The hero manages to beat the son of the mafioso, who, trying to force to prove his superiority over the presumptuous student, falls and smashes his head. Tragic accident entails a lot of unpleasant consequences for Charlie.
Now he is being hunted by a bunch of notorious villains, armed to the teeth of bandits, all that remains for him is to run away wherever his eyes look. In general, the actors of the film “Run” did an excellent job, revealed the characteristics of the characters, realizing the plot idea. Patrick Dempsey in the title role is damn charming, the action develops rapidly, without annoying sagging, it is even surprising that the film failed at the box office. Perhaps it’s time for some of the contemporary filmmakers to take on the remake. If you re-shoot the project, diluting the chase with spectacular parkour, you should get a very interesting sight.
