How to cook buckwheat porridge in milk from annealed cereals
We prepare buckwheat: pour the cereal onto the table and carefully sort it out, removing extraneous inclusions and those grains from which the husk has not been peeled. We heat the dry frying pan with a thick bottom and pour the peeled cereal onto it (1 cup). On a rather high fire, we heat the buckwheat, constantly stirring (so as not to burn).
We do this operation for 5-7 minutes. A characteristic click of the grains and a pleasant smell will tell us that the process is complete. Pour cold water (1 cup) into the pan, put sugar and salt to taste. After the water in the pan boils, pour the buckwheat there. Reduce the heat and let the grits boil for a few minutes. We prepare the cereals and start cooking porridge in the same way as in the previous recipe. After we pour the milk into the pan and put the butter, let the porridge boil for quite a bit (5 minutes) and transfer it to the baking pots, filling them about three quarters. Preheat the oven to 170 degrees, put our pots of porridge in it and cook for 25-30 minutes. Cooking buckwheat porridge in milk in the oven is quite simple, and the result is wonderful: the most delicate flavorful porridge under a golden brown crust.
