Cauliflower should occupy one of the leading places in our diet. It is very useful, has a rich nutritional composition and even refers to dietary dishes. In addition to all of the above, this variety also has excellent taste. That is why cauliflower should be on our tables. It is very easy to pickle, so you can prepare this product for the winter.
We just cook
To begin, consider the original appetizer, which can be prepared very quickly and without unnecessary trouble. To do this, you need 2 kilograms of cauliflower, 2 bell peppers, two medium carrots, two third cups of vegetable oil, 3 large tablespoons of vinegar (9%), several cloves of garlic, 3 large tablespoons of sugar, salt, fresh parsley, bay leaf and pepper. Canned pickled cauliflower is prepared according to the following recipe. First, put the pan and mix in it 2 liters of water with two tablespoons of salt. Bring this mixture to a boil. We disassemble the cabbage and put it into the water.
Turn off the fire immediately and leave the cabbage in the water for 15 minutes. During this time, you can cut the necessary ingredients. We clear the pepper from the seeds and chop the straws. We clean the carrots and three on a grater with a long thin straw (as for
Korean dishes). Grind garlic and fresh herbs. Now we take the cabbage out of the water and wait for the excess liquid to drain. Put it in a bowl and mix with the rest of the vegetables and herbs. Add salt and pepper. Add sugar, vegetable oil and vinegar to the remaining brine. We spread the cabbage in the prepared containers, boil the marinade and pour the contents of the cans with it. If we prepare this dish for the winter, then we tightly roll the container with lids. But you can pickle cabbage for 4 hours in the room, and then put it out for 10 hours in the cold. After that, cauliflower will be ready. It is not necessary to marinate for a long time and after the set time you can try.
Cabbage with pepper
The combination of these two vegetables gives unusual results. Pickled cauliflower with pepper is a great appetizer, tender and spicy at the same time. Take a kilogram of sweet pepper, 200 grams of cauliflower, 150 grams of parsley and celery roots , 5 cloves of garlic and spices to taste.
For the marinade you will need a liter of water, 800 milliliters of vinegar (9%), two tablespoons of salt and sugar and 2
leaves of laurel. After 16 hours, cauliflower will be ready. It must be marinated for about 15 hours, and cooked for 1 hour. We clean and cut the Bulgarian pepper into several parts. We divide the cabbage into small pieces, and chop the spicy roots and garlic. We take a container for salting and put a little garlic on the bottom. Next are vegetables and cauliflower. You can marinate using any spices. Layers of vegetables should be sprinkled with pepper, spices and salt. Spread the remaining garlic on top. All ingredients are lightly crushed. We prepare marinade from water, salt, granulated sugar and vinegar. It must be boiled and pour cabbage with pepper on it. Leave the dish for 12 hours. After this, drain the liquid from the cans and boil it again. Fill the jars for half an hour, and then merge the marinade again. Boil and pour the liquid into the jars again. Then they need to be heated for about 15 minutes. After that, pepper and cauliflower will be ready. You can pickle vegetables in large containers, and for the winter it is better to close in glass jars.
