Tuning an electric guitar involves adjusting the working length of the string - the scale. If it is not adjusted, then the guitar will fake. It’s better to tune the scale with the tuner or with the help of the flagpoles, which should sound like a pinched string on the twelfth fret above the twentieth fret. Replacing strings is an easy step, but there are some tricks. Usually new electric guitars have cheap cords. It is best to replace them immediately. First you need to install the central spring, and after replacing and before tensioning, the remaining springs. Then unscrew the screws and remove the clamps. First of all, install the thickest sixth string, then the first, then all the rest.
An important rule is not to remove all strings at once. First, remove the first, measure a new one on it, twist a little in the place of the required length, insert and pull. Do the same manipulations with all other strings. This sequence is important so that the anchor does not go. New strings will be pulled for a couple more days, so the guitar will need to be tuned. When a string breaks, with the exception of the first one, you need to change the whole set, since the sound from the strings from different sets will be terrible.
The last tuning of the electric guitar is to adjust the height of the sensors. To get an excellent signal, the sensors should be as close to the strings as possible. In this case, it is necessary that the strings do not touch the sensor magnets.
