Thrush, a yeast infection caused by a fungus, can also cause white sores on the tongue. Thrush can occur if:
- take a lot of antibiotics;
- the immune system is weakened;
- there are diabetes.

There are a number of reasons why language is ulcerated:
- Median rhomboid glossitis, as a result of which sores appear in the tongue in the middle of the tongue or on the sides.
- Glossalgia, or burning mouth syndrome. This disease is often found in people who are constantly experiencing depression.
- Glossopharyngeal neuralgia.
- Lichen planus.
- Behcet's disease.
- Pemphigus is a serious disease, manifested in the form of blisters not only in the mouth, but also in the nose and throat.
- Glossitis Meller.
